Heard about Dickeys from a co worker.Spoke with the owner and they are all about community!! They have only been open approx. for a little over a week.so there are a few thing to work on. Sweet tea needs to be sweeter but he is working on thay.Staff was extremely friendly and attentive to what we ordered.Food came out correct and hot food was hot and cold food was cold. The baked beans were spicy and I enjoyed them…Gainesville needs a new Barbecue spot and Dickeys is it !!!

Mediocre bbq place. Got a brisket sandwich, Mac n cheese, and a small sweet tea (they were out of large cups). It wasn’t worth the almost $17 those three items cost. Small portions. Also, skip their drive thru, the speaker doesn’t work.

I was excited to try this place. The sides were fantastic. The ribs were aweful. There was no browning. It almost seemed that the we’re boiled and served. My wife got sick and I couldn’t bear to even take a bite. Maybe it was just a bad batch. Who knows. I won’t be a returning customer.

I’ve been looking forward to trying this place ever since I saw it opened. It was worth the wait. We had the brisket burnt ends, ribs, and marinated chicken with sides of fries and Mac & cheese. It was incredible. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The ribs were falling off the bone, the chicken was juicy, and the brisket was tender and delicious. The staff was so kind and friendly. The place was also very clean and tidy. Gainesville needed a good BBQ place and we finally have one!

I went here with my family to grab a quick dinner. When we came in we looked at the menu for a little bit and no one offered to help us or anything. We ordered and we could tell that everyone that was working was new. There was one lady there who was working hard, I think her name was Shade. Our food came out and we were disappointed. Everything but our sides were cold. The roll it came with was hard and dense. My mom really liked her creamed collards. The staff seemed very new and very overwhelmed. We might give it another try, but wait a few months until the employees are more comfortable.

Really good food- I liked that they had an option for pork burnt ends, and they had a lot of options for side dishes, which is usually my favorite part of bbq places. The staff was great, and you can tell they’re nice people who are family and community focused. The location is perfect for us, so we’ll definitely be back!

The food was so delicious the loaded fries were amazing, the customer service was great. I have returned over 5 times since they opened. The yellow cups are huge and free refills which was good. I loved that kids eat free on Sundays!!! That is a game changer.

I had the brisket and ribs combo. The meat was delicious, juicy. And falling off the bone. The Cole slaw was also very good. The French fries were just gross. I will definitely eat there again.
