Mediocre BBQ. Pit smoked wings were over cooked and dry after the Fry-o-later. Okra was flavorless and maybe fry oil was old because there was a slight rancid taste. Smoked sausage was excellent. Brisket was below average. Overall, not very good. Very friendly staff.

The ribs are Ok, the sauce was sweet but it was warmed up and not cooked in but it’s understandable as it may have been late or near closing. They were very personable and service was great and there was not much waiting. Good portions, the baked beans were good but my taste from south Florida wanted it to be sweeter. The place is hidden behind in the back and with many other restaurants it can get passed up. Nice place overall.

Ordered online. Picked up on the way home. 2 young guys working, pleasant enough. Ordered brisket and pulled pork, both with regular BBQ sauce. Got home, no sauce. Also ordered Cole slaw for my wife. When one young man handed me the bag, I specifically asked, “Are the sides in here? Coleslaw?” Yup, OK, thanks. Got home. No slaw. Bought 10 rolls, not knowing they give you some. Rolls were 50 cents each. 2 inches square, 3/4 inch high. Frankly, they were stale and sucked. Meat was dry, of course. No taste. Never again.

The food was incredible! We ordered a 3 meat, 2side, 1 Texas toast meal plate for $16.25 and everything was perfection. We were so full and couldn’t finish. Above all of that, staff was so nice and welcoming!

I have eaten at several dickies BBQ‘s across the country. When I entered the restaurant I was not greeted I had to ask for service. I ordered 6 ounces of brisket while the person was cutting the brisket. His words were this brisket has no structural integrity whatsoever. I also ordered a pecan pie Which they were out of I was charged for a pecan pie and had to settle for a brownie at the price of a pecan pie. the brisket of 6 ounces. It was to go. Once I arrived at my hotel room. I noticed a very funny smell from the box when I opened them to go box it’s smelled like cat food. I took a closer look and decided to throw it all away, this dickeys barbecue needs some serious housecleaning. I would not order or eat there again. I am now completely done with dickeys barbecue from any city or state across the country. They have turned into the McDonald’s of BBQ and that’s probably giving McDonald’s a bad name. At least McDonald’s has consistency across the country.

Can’t say enough about Dickey’s BBQ in Brentwood!! The smoked chicken was delicious and the staff went above and beyond helping us with our catering order. From the amount of food to order, offering paper plates & utensils and letting us place an order the same day. So helpful and courteous!! We will definitely use them again when we are back in town!!
