First off, I felt like I was an inconvenience to the employees as soon as I walked in. There were three young girls working and let’s just say they brought their teenage attitudes with them. The girl taking my order seemed in a hurry even though I was the only person there. The place looked dirty and it seems like they keep the lighting dim to cover that up. The girls kept looking questionably at the food in the pots, which should have immediately told me to run, but unfortunately I ordered anyway. Meat was cold and had to be microwaved when I got home, macaroni was ok, and the okra was pretty good but skimpy on the portion. Absolutely not worth 17 dollars whatsoever. I can definitely say I will not be back again. The place and food was way better when Jared owned it.

every single time i order online for pickup, i get home with missing items. who goes to a bbq restaurant and doesn’t give you bbq sauce.. even after ordering TWO EXTRA?? i’ve also ordered specific food items and get something totally different from what i order. i just picked some food up for me to eat tonight and got home only to fall into the same issue. i paid $7 for an (extra) large fry and got a small, asked for 2 bbq sauces and got none, and asked for the round bun and got the wrong one. the food tastes good but is always cold. most of the staff i’ve encountered are always in a bad mood and unfriendly. y’all need to hire new staff. bbq is one of my favorites and i will not be coming back.

Ordered for pickup. They were fully missing our side and both of our bbq sauces. The brisket was not good at all, I order brisket at every bbq we go to. Very very tough and fatty. Still hungry after finishing due to missing sides and portion of meat that was too fatty to eat.

Ordered two kids meals to take to lunch for our kids. Not any of it could be eaten. The fries were hot but completely not done in the center. The chicken was pink and chewy the other meal was sausage and it was not good at all.

This is really great barbecue and the location is great. It is near the Avid hotel so if you are staying there, you can walk. They offer a wide selection and the food is large portions. They have great atmosphere and can do dine in or take out.
