I usually go to the Blue Mound location, but we moved out to Haslet recently so thought I’d give this location a try and it sucked! Got me and my wife a loaded baked potato with brisket for each one of us and apparently this location takes the liberty of building it for you. The Blue Mound location gives you all the ingredients (except for the meat) in small containers on the side. And I’m sure we were supposed to get a roll with our order too, but didn’t. Got home and my bag was full of grease! Apparently the guy making my order put out potatoes in the containers upside down! So all the grease leaked out into the bag and all over my truck and on the counter at home. We will definitely not go to this location to order food and get slop instead. So far everything out here for restaurants don’t compare to the mainland. Smh

My first time here and it was ok. I got 3 meat plate. Brisket was very good. Ribs not really. Too dry and almost no meat on them, just bones. Chicken was good but little bit to dry. Place in clean. People are nice.

Food was mediocre not much smoke on there for BBQ taste like it was made in the oven but was edible however the guy who was cutting meat needs to learn some customer service skills he saw me come In but didn’t ever say a word to me. He continued on cutting and finally just stared at me. I had to ask him if he was for me to order and he just shook his head. The cashier also kept looking over but never said hello either but at least could speak when I got to the register

We had excellent service. Some businesses have had to adjust because of covid and lack of help. I’ve been there quite a few times over several months and have watched them get better. Everything was hot and we had good service….I will be going back again because they by far have a great Giant baker with everything on it. People just have to understand the pandemic has changed the food industry period

Yeah this location is not good at all. The so called pit master yelled at me. The cashier was just as rude. Not that anyone was in there but me but for the love of lamb… Don’t yell at your customers because you’re having a bad day.

They had the doors locked and were just staring at people coming up to the door on a Saturday at 4:30pm. Open sign was on and no one came out to explain why just stared at people.

Charlie was wonderful to our family! She was very patient with us as we asked several questions about the menu and I’ve never eaten there before. I’m pretty picky and I was extremely pleased with the customer service we received and the quality of the food and the barbecue was extremely juicy. My toddlers loved the free ice cream machine! It was so thoughtful to place that there. I got the chicken deal of the day and it was seasoned perfectly and Fed my entire family of five for about $25. I’ll be telling a lot of people in my neighborhood to come visit! We will be back
