I would not call this Texas BBQ at all. The brisket was extremely tough and flavorless which wasn’t helped with the runny sauce. The sides were okay but what we ordered was supposed to feed 4 and it barely feed 2 children, 7 & 10. The price seemed reasonable until we got the smallest portions I’ve ever seen come from a “BBQ” place…by the time I made the kids plates, there was literally just meat left for me and my husband – the sides were gone so we were stuck with bland brisket.. We wanted to try something different and deeply regretted it.

I love eating at Dickeys but the location at 5832 fairdale where I picked my food up wasn’t good at all. The meat was a 1/4 of the potion that I normally get for the same price and extremely tough to chew. I was really disappointed. I won’t be ordering from this one again. The sides were okay, the roll was older and tough to chew and I was really bummed on the meat which is the best part.

Ordered Dickey’s 80 years anniversary special on April 9th around 3:20pm from Dickeys.com and selected 3:45pm as pickup time, 5832 Fairdale Lane was the location. Waiting in the car until it was 3:45pm and order tracker showed it was being packed. Another 15 minutes past the order was still at packing stage so I went into the store to check on my order. . This is not a typical Dickey’s store, it did not have a sign outside that says Dickey’s, rather it has a sign that says Fair Food Co. It looked like the place was serving multiple restaurant chain’s food since there were more than half a dozen restaurant’s names listed on the check-in tablet. I am guessing this place doesn’t make most of the food on spot but rather get the food from central kitchen of various restaurants. I waited another 5 to 10 minutes in store after checking-in but order status just stayed on Packing. Finally I went to the counter and asked the employee at the front, she said it should be ready soon so I sat down and waited another 5 minutes. Food never came out so I asked the girl again, she went back to the kitchen to check this time and came out to tell me that no one was in the kitchen and she doesn’t know if kitchen staff will be back or not. I then asked her what can be done then, she said I’d have to contact Dickey’s for refund since their store can’t do anything about it or I can come back another time to pickup the food. Needless to say I paid my food online and never got my food and Dickey’s don’t even have a customer service line that I can call to get my money back. I don’t know how a food service business doesn’t even know its own kitchen is empty and has no customer service what so ever. Of course Dickey’s doesn’t even have a customer service number that I can call to get my money back, now I have to wait for the charge to post then dispute it, completely unacceptable. Do not come, you are better off spending your hard earned money in just about any other restaurants.

Ordered from there in the past with great results. Ordered through doordash tonight and was TERRIBLE. Ordered stuffed baked potato with CHOPPED beef but came with SLICED beef and portion of meat was TINY. Ordered potato with green onions and none came. Barely any cheddar cheese added as well. Also ordered pecan pie and it was TINY and practically frozen. Very bad job compared to previous orders.

Ordered some food and when I arrived the food is cold, had mashed potatoes instead of Mac and cheese and the meat is very dry. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but I see now why it has a 2 star rating. Congrats on being a sub par barbecue place in Texas.

Absolutely disgusting bar-be-que ordered through Doordash on 7/4/21 gave me chopped instead of sliced beef, they forgot to put my pecan pie in my bag, and the coleslaw was probably made 3 days prior because it was usually slimy for coleslaw….long story short couldn’t even finish the meal before throwing it up.

This is the worst ever. I placed a order on the website for Uber eats.. When I received my food the sausages were cold like they were sitting all day and the rib was the end piece and burnt the macaroni cup had a note that said they ran out..
