People, don’t compare this to other BBQ places. It’s fast food. Once you compare it to other fast food options It’s not that bad. The smoked meat isn’t on par with 90% of the BBQ places in my area but it is far better than the McBurger joint down the road. I’d give more stars for the atmosphere but the last couple times I’ve been there the AC must have been out because it was well over 80 degrees. Nobody wants to eat when it’s that hot!

It was great, the food had an excellent flavor. The portions were just right so that I could finish everything without feeling bloated, but still large enough to be filling. The roll was a little tough, but everything else more than makes up for that. I was told today just wasn’t a great day for rolls, they are usually much better so your experience may vary.

We had ordered some sandwiches online and normally the sandwiches are ready by the time we get there to pick them up. However, when we got there, all three workers were in the back on their phones and were ignoring our attempts to get their attention. They hadn’t taken our ticket out of the ticket machine, much less made our food. Normally I wouldn’t write a complaint but what sealed the deal was the fact that when we finally got our food, they didn’t even give us the right thing.

Two stars for the friendly meat guy, but the general manager was not friendly at all. She went around with a scowl and tone that was not welcoming. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but it made our visit very unpleasant. The brisket was way overcooked and dry, but the jalapeno cheese sausage was good.
