The food was really good. However, I did expect to receive slightly larger portions. I felt the pick 3 had only a few bites of each meat, the fries were not even half full in their sleeve, and the Mac n cheese has like a false bottom that makes it look larger than it is. We spent about $45 for 2 people, carryout.

Pueblo, CO location. VERY small portions of everything! Chopped brisket was 90% fat. Very little flavor in the brisket and pulled pork. Jalapeno cheddar sausage was just ok. Only get 1 rib on the 3 meat plate. $3.49 for an extremely small portion of fries. BBQ beans, fries, roll, fountain drink (in nice large plastic cup) and potato casserole were tasty.

This location has some serious service/personnel issues though the food is good. I ordered a sausage sandwich combo with my yellow cup but did not get the drink discount. When I asked the guy behind the counter, he stated there was nothing he could do. I was also charged for pickles and onions that are supposed to come with the sandwich. I did not order extra which I was charged for. The personnel need to learn the menu and be more customer service aware.

Ordered catering on for 15 people. Almost $300. We called the day before to make sure it was all in order. No answer. Called 3 times. The next morning, we called 3 more times in 2 hours. No answer. At 1 hour before the expected delivery time, I sent a staff member to Dickey’s to make sure this was going to happen. The delivery driver did show up, and explained the growing pains they were having. She was the only positive part of the experience.

Came in today and had a number 4 combo. A brisket sandwich, a side of mac and a soda. Everything was absolutely delicious! The brisket was chopped and very juicy and flavorful. The mac and cheese was amazing and tasted homemade so that was an extra plus! The restaurant was clean and the people working were very friendly and helpful. As soon as I came in the door I was greeted with a smile. Will definitely be coming back!

Melissa so called the owner or manager doesn’t know anything about customer service very rude, the back prep area so filthy, flies everywhere, they keep the meat in this rolling bakery sheet bin and no heat I have had food poisoning from other places one thing I look for if the back is clean, I touch the counter you could tell it hasn’t been clean since they opened. I’m gonna talk to the Health Department and turn them in for possible food borne illnesses in the future, I think I’m gonna stick with GG’s Barbecue way cleaner and better service.

Be it known that I was raised in the south. My opinions about BBQ may be slightly snobbish. First, the good; the amount of meat on the bun was exceptional. Secondly; the sauce, bun, and taste were average. Finally, the bad; menu board lettering was very very small. Meat was not warm throughout. Sauces were in large containers in a central location. If they were in bottles on the tables, they would be easier to sample. The front door and back door were open to create a cooling breeze (it was warm in there and I’m sure the kitchen was hot) but a broken shade (wouldn’t go up or down) kept blowing over my table.

The food was not good at all. The ribs tasted like they were made from a tire with 100K miles on it. Mac n Cheese would have probably been better from the bue box. I feel like I was ripped off. I had high hopes for this place and was let down. Want good BBQ? Just head across the street.
