I like this location however, it’s in dire need of help. It needs a deep cleaning. The bathroom needed to be cleaned. Fix the toilet paper dispenser. The menu board is a mess. Half the items are covered up with paper and/or written over. A typed menu of combos is posted but it’s hard to read. The entire menu board is a mess. The dining room was empty and had a few dirty tables that needed to be wiped down. The dining room needs a good cleaning. The self-service bar for condiments, sauce, etc, is empty. Doesn’t look like it’s been used for a while. Same with the “Out of Order” ice cream machine. Get rid of these eyesores or fix them. The employees were nice and working hard to fill orders. I ordered the combo#4. I was under the impression it was beef brisket, a side, and drink. Turns out it was a sandwich, which is okay. However, the toasted bun but burnt. They did offer choice bbq sauce since the self-service bar is obsolete. This is in a great location but lacks cleanliness and much needed attention.

I went with a friend on a Tuesday a little after 1 pm on a Tuesday. The place was deserted and we were the only customers there. The counter person was very friendly, and we ordered the daily special, which was pork ribs with two sides, bread and a drink for something around $13.

We have been going to Dickey’s BBQ in Meridian for years and the service and food was always very good. Well we are done with Dickey’s. Now I know why we were the only customers in the shop. I had ribs and they were supper dry and NO sauce available at the side counter anymore. Had to go back to the cash counter and request BBQ sauce which came in a baby size butter cup, enough for two ribs. My wife had wings and they were just as bad. They were drier than a popcorn fart. This is an easy decision, NO MORE DICKEY’s FOR THE FAMILY PARTIES,GET TOGETHERS, OR EATING OUT. Neither of us finished our meals. Well have to give credit where credit is due, the lemonade was excellent.

We ordered ahead for dinner and picked it up at the store. When we returned home, we realized that they gave us the wrong meat and sauce for one of our plates, and they left out a few items that we had ordered. It was not a cheap meal, so it was bothersome that we did not get what we ordered. Very disappointed with our experience here. Will likely not return to this location.

They might as well close this place and get it over with. We usually eat at the location on 12th in Nampa, which is now closed. Then there’s the one out across from Costco in Nampa. Dirty, slow service, out of everything or “out of order”. So this time we tried the one in Meridian on Overland. We show up a 11:10, neon sign says “OPEN”, try the doors and they’re locked. Finally get inside trying to figure out what’s left of their menu with items either lined out or taped over. You used to get a large dill pickle, no more. You used to get serve your self soft ice cream, no more. Machines all say “out of order” now. You used to get your choice of 3 different self server warm BBQ sauces, no more. Now you have to tell them at the counter and you get one little container. Buns were cold, meat was cold, BBQ beans were luke warm, 2 thinly slice dill pickle chips and a little piece of onion. Went to wash up after eating no paper towels, rest room filthy, trash can full, used paper towels overflowing onto the floor. $34 bucks for 2 people. Won’t be back.

Half the light bulbs are burned out. On the menu boards half the items are covered with slips of paper as if they are out of half their products. The relish/pickle/BBQ sauce bar is no where to be found. There is a sign that says “free ice cream” but the machine is out of order and I was told that it’s been this way for two years now. A couple kids work here who seem like they are being tortured. Can’t even work up a smile.

We had Brisket and Ribs, but found both bland and little smoked flavor. Need to add some wood fired taste and crunch. Both the brisket and ribs were cold when came to table. Baked bean and fries, and cabbage slaw sides were great, but green beans a lot too spicy. Price was right but meat lacking in expected Barbecue pit taste.

Ordered the day before for a XL pack to be delivered at noon for my employees. Fridays here and they call at 11:45 to say it was going to be a few minutes late. Well its now 12:15 and I have people that came in on their day off for the food that was supposed to here at noon. Called them to ask whats going on and guy, his name said is Dillion, said the orders already left and that the General Manager was delivering it. Now its 12:30, still no food. Now its 12:45, called back to see where our food is, the Assistant said, its out of his control, that the GM was delivering it. Said he was going to call her and call me back. Never called called back. 12:50, door dash driver walks in with my food. Funny, I was told the GM was delivering it. The door dash said he text me of the late delivery. I never received a text. The door dash driver said that dickies gave him the phone number. The number was not even mine. Gave a 20.00 tip to get a 45min. Late delivery. Never again will do businees with this Dickies. Also ordered ribs and didnt get and never got any bread.
