It was a weird experience. When we pulled up the place was empty with a hand written sign on the door that said “Bathroom break. Be back in 5-10 minutes.” But there was someone behind the counter so we wandered in. Then on the menu board there was another hand written sign that said the prices are $2-3 more than listed. Then the AC wasn’t working on one side of the store. Once we got the food it was OK. My brisket was a bit tough and the bun was kind of soggy. The pulled pork was good.

Placed a large order for a birthday party and of course they have no quality and are too lazy to check the receipt as they are filling the order . Forgot to put the sauce in the bag and charged me $26.99 for a small maybe 8oz of Mac and cheese after the order said family size Mac and Cheese along with 2 containers of sauce minimum for 6 lbs of meat. Incompetent but the bbq was tasty too bad we had to use our own sauce

Absolutely the worst! I ordered the brisket and one of my sides was the fried okra. There were only 2 very thin strips of brisket that were edible as the rest was nothing but fat. The fried okra was just a clump with raw batter in the middle. I didn’t even want to deal witn the staff. They know what the brisket looked like since they portion it out when you order. And you should know that fried okra should be individual pieces and not a large clump! It was disgusting.

We ordered over $500 worth of food from this location and set it up for delivery for our school that is for kids with learning differences graduation. The day of the event they never showed up so we called and found out that our order was misplaced by a manager and they had no way of making good on the order so we had no choice but to cancel the order and get food from Bobby Q’s barbecue which provided the food in 20 minutes. What even made this worse, Dickey’s manager stated we would receive our refund but never did so we had to dispute the charge to get our school’s credit card credited. These actions should be absolutely embarrassing to the owner of this location. He should be ashamed!!

Cannot speak to the quality of food because they never showed up. We were having them cater a private charter aboard the Desert Belle at Saguaro Lake. We waited for the food to come. Called the restaurant.They said the guy who was supposed to deliver it never showed up. Rather than let us know they did nothing. Our clients sat and waited and waited for nothing. We have been using caters throughout the valley for years and have never encountered this degree of unprofessionalism. Avoid this location at all costs.

I write alot of reviews. With that being said this is my first 1 star. Went into this location for lunch, spent about 40 dollars and will be the last 40 dollars i spend at dickies. What happened? Cold food, severely dried pork and brisket, and the sausage has to be days old based on the colouration. Was absolutely terrible. Because i was on lunch i didnt go right back as i was working. But there was no way i wasnt writing this.

Leaving 1 star because I can’t leave 0. I placed an online order and instead of making my order they took everyone’s orders(9 people) who came in the door after I was already here waiting and then ran out of what I had ordered. I felt bad for the one employee who was here working by herself. She needs more help. Can’t leave a whole store up to one person. That’s not fair to them.

The young guy behind the counter works multiple days by himself and he always manages to give the best customer service even when he’s busy and I am starting to notice when I do come in he’s always by himself with zero help the owner should really look into hiring a staff or give him a raise because he’s always doing work that’s for more than one person and he handles very well and professionally.
