We ordered food online last night for pick up. It was ready pretty quickly and the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. That was the great part. The food was horrible and I think I am being kind. More specifically the thing you are most known for, the Ribs were horrible. It was like eating sawdust it was so dry! Even dousing it with BBQ sauce didn’t help it. I am usually pretty forgiving, but that was not edible. I was too tired to take it back.

Very unprofessional! My sister had an interview here for her first job and was told she had a nice interview and that she saw her as a great fit for the job. Two days later, we show up for her second interview that they asked her to complete, only to be told from someone standing in their kitchen, that the job had been filled the day before and that she should try again during their next round of hiring. All it would have taken was a simple phone call to let her know that they had moved on to another candidate. Instead, we took time out of our day, used gas to drive there and back, just for someone to lean over a counter and tell her that she didn’t get the job. Extremely unprofessional.

Barbecue places are hard to find nearby so I go to Dickeys. I prefer my meat already sauced and that’s what I’d like to find. They did have really reasonable prices initially. Their buns were really good too. Now they have a weird consistency where the bread sticks to your fingers. Plus many times the pulled pork is chopped and has burnt prices.

Went in for Memorial Day take out with my father, a veteran, and had the worst experience. They seemed to be short staffed and overwhelmed which we were happy to be patient with but when we got our food home they had literally just cut the 1/2lb of brisket off as an end chunk of overcooked chewy gross beef. They clearly didn’t care at all. Will not be back. Would much rather make the drive to Rudy’s or another location.

They gave the wrong order to the Uber Eats driver so he had to go back and get the right one. So our food was getting cold by the time it got here. They forgot the dinner rolls that were supposed to be in the order. The brisket was as tough as jerky. Can’t believe they charge 10$ extra for that. The ribs were mostly burned. Worst BBQ I ever had in my life. I can and have made better brisket than this is my backyard.

We went to Dickeys on Friday evening 5/12/23, about 5:30. Walked in and got in line. After about 15 minutes we realized the line was not moving. There were three people working behind the counter and they were not taking any orders from us waiting in line. I went to the counter and asked if they were going to serve us. I was told they only have three people working and they are taking care of online orders. Really! So what does that mean, we can go pound sand? Do online orders take president over people who come to the restaurant and are eating in? He then stated they would get to us soon. No other communication to the people in line.
