Have eaten Dickeys at several locations. When visiting San Marcos saw a familiar brand name and stopped for lunch. Ordered pulled pork plate and a chicken Caesar salad. I was the only guest waiting after ordering.

Man… the food arrived an hour late due to the restaurant, and then I received super SOGGY fries. They were like In N Out fries but soggy! Terrible! Not to mention the absolutely exorbitant price. The sides can go for as much as $10, which is more than an entire In N Out meal. The sides aren’t even great, either. The Mac and Cheese was mediocre as well.

I just got food from here. I was the only person in there and it took longer than 20 mins to make a pulled pork sandwich plate. I ordered two pulled pork plates they only gave me one. When I told them they made the second sandwich within 2 mins like they just grabbed the buns and slapped the meat on there and that’s literally what they did. It was the most disappointing pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. Not to mention one of the guys was sick while making my food sniffling and wiping his nose disgusting. I used to love this place i don’t know what happened.

Choped brisket and pork were more than half fat. The only good meat was the sausage and it was lukewarm at best. Macaroni was cold and I got potato salad instead of the baked potato casserole I ordered. Will only recommend local places from now on never making this mistake again.

Solid 3 meat plate. Great Mac n cheese. Even better bread rolls. No qualms here – great service and menu offering. Wonderful sauce too. Not as great as some more local non chain bbq, but they do a fine job nontheless. Probably will come back to visit again.
