The sides are pretty typical of “fast food bbq”, nothing too special but not bad. The meat on the other hand seems to be very hit or miss. Sometimes it’s DRY and sometimes it’s okay. But if you’re looking for convenience that’s what you get sometimes.

Food was decent overall. Flavor of the brisket was good, but the bark was overdeveloped, the meat was overcooked, and either they’re using select or low end choice grade brisket, or they smoked it a bit too long, or maybe both and it’s all flat meat that is being served. Either way, I had to disassemble my sandwich and heat up my brisket in salt brine in the microwave to save it. Maybe I’m spoiled from my time living in Kansas City and my experiences in Memphis, but I expect better. It’s not bad, but the meat is the centerpiece of any good barbeque restaurant, and absolutely needs refinement to be top tier.

I will be the first to admit I was hella skeptical being that this place is in the Lloyd Center aka the mall but the wife said she dropped by for a quick snack while holiday shipping and to her surprise the slider was actually good so this time add-ons were at Lloyd holiday shipping, round 2 and I’m getting hungry. We saw a sign for a new brewery that’s located on the 3rd floor. We walked up there only to realize it was already closed but she remembers this place! So off we go.

So after coming in for the brisket, and asking for a refund due to the meat being tougher than expired beef jerky, the manager yelled at me telling no. I gave them the food back after taking two bites. These people are going to close down at this rate.

Came here with my family for lunch. The food was inedible. I love bar-b-que – the brisket was as tough as jerky. Onions (one of my favorite toppings) were putrid. My daughter couldn’t eat the mac n cheese. Disputing this with my bank.

So my experience of this location of Dickey’s was positive the owner was knowledgeable of his menu and the ever growing arch of the Dickey’s franchise. Which the well priced combos and were exciting, the westerner w/brisket was amazing and w/ my fiancé enjoying her three pork ribs, the sides of Mac and cheese that we received were bland and boring and looked nothing like the menu displayed shots of Mac n’ cheese that drew us in. I understand the market right now but I feel taken for a fool. Where the fries were etched off the menu so too could Macbeen to avoid this.

I’m giving this 3 stars because the staff was friendly and I’ve only tried ONE thing. I asked if their Mac n cheese was legit, and they said it was their best selling side. Hate to say it tastes like canned chef boyardee Mac and maybe a little like reesers microwave Mac. Mostly like it came from a bag, tub, or can. Not good.

What kind of restaurant closes this early on a Friday? It says it’s open until 6:30pm but no one was there at 6:15pm, clearly already closed by 6. How am I supposed to get dinner? Great food but they need to stay open at least until 7pm, that’s totally reasonable. Noon to 7pm would be better than 11AM to 6pm.

Hours are not accurate. Drove out to the Lloyd Center Location for nothing. Maybe it’s closed on Mondays? They show as open until 7pm online. Disappointed.

I always have a great experience here until today. The cashier working ignored me for a very long time. He helped other customers that I was in line before. I did an Uber order so I went to the front and waited to be addressed. He purposely kept looking past me as if he was irritated. Finally, his female coworker addressed me and asked if I had been helped. I told her I’m picking up and uber order. He then immediately jumped in and said “there’s a sign right here that says to get in line”. I ignored him because I could see he was hostile. He then said “most people don’t see it”. Clearly I didn’t see the small hand written sign at the front because people were continuously paying and I wasn’t close enough to see it. He then took his sweet time packing my food. He also saw I was with someone in a wheelchair…. everyone at this location is usually very friendly. He is the only one who had a bad attitude. He should not have done that. He could have just said “ma’am if you ha e an Uber order, please get in line”. He was irritated so he ignored me then got hostile and took longer. I asked the female where should I go next time and she told me where. She was nice. He needs customer service training …I give a 2 because they are usually nice. But this needs to be addressed
