We first went to Dickies in Texas and loved it so we were happy to find that Issaquah has one, too. The food was great. I had the chicken, green beans and potato casserole. All were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The staff was very friendly and knew their menu, the restaurant vibe was very relaxing. Will be back!

The staff was great but the food was mediocre. Granted, I came late (to go) but expected more. The jalapeno sausage was actually pretty good, but the turkey not so much. I am pretty sure it was turkey loaf (a formed meat product) as opposed to real turkey breast. The texture was off and so was the flavor. The pulled port was lean but way to soft (think mushy). Plus, none of the meat had much smoke flavor. I suspect the meat is smoked then held at temperature in some sort of warming oven. This would account for the soft texture and lack of smoke flavor. Lastly, 3/4 pound of various meats + 1 side was $31 + change NIC tax. Hardly s bargain considering the lacking qualities one would expect from true texas barbeque. I would be hard pressed to return and recommend other places before this one.

I’m from Texas and in my opinion this is the best BBQ on the east side. Every other place we try is mediocre at best. And the staff here are the best and nicest people. We love this place.

Having recently moved back to Washington, and wanting some good bbq, I came across Dickey’s on Uber Eats and was I surprised by how amazingly delicious this q is! I had no idea they’re a chain, but the meat melts in your mouth, the sides are thoughtfully curated and delicious, and their sauces are boss! Absolutely love, love, love this place! Come hungry, the portions are very satisfying!
