Nevkil Avocado Hollandaise III
I’ve been here before and I think they really shine at breakfast. The BBQ plate of pulled pork and 2 sides was nothing special. Canned greenbeans with a distinct lack of anything special as well as a rather bland Brunswick stew that really disappointed since it’s one of my favorite things to judge a bbq joint by. The pulled pork passable and I think their sauces just come straight from bottles. Carolina BBQ sauce seemed very similar to Cattlemans Carolina gold. Simply come for breakfast, skip lunch.

Great place for some down home country style breakfast. Wonderful BBQ. The bacon is EXCELLENT! I’ve had a request for their bacon egg and cheese biscuits all the way from NC if that tells you anything. Recommend giving it a try. I’ve been a long time customer myself.

The new staff is so slow. They are losing so much buisness from people walking out from waiting during breakfast. 6 people in line taking 20 plus minutes. Don’t have time for this anymore. Food is pretty good, they have started selling smaller portions compared to what they use to.

So glad this is on my way to the office. Biscuits are Devine. The cheese grits are cooked to perfection. I’m a creature of habit and order the same thing, but I need to try their other breakfast items. The staff is super friendly and have a great rapport with customers. It doesn’t hurt that they’re fans of my beloved Georgia Bulldogs as well.

The bbq sandwich didn’t need sauce, it was the slam with little burnt ends, the way I like it. The BLT was delicious too. Greens, green beans and cucumber salad was all delicious as well. I’m coming back, definitely, and I want to try the breakfast, it has to be good.

Update… 8-29-23. Service has got a lot better. Portion sizes are still smaller with a higher price rag, but what isnt nowadays. Food still taste good…. 7/23 Been going here for breakfast for the last 8 years. Just recently things have changed and seems like I am getting so much less for the same price. Steak biscuit now is smaller then the biscuit itself, bacon biscuit with 2 pieces of bacon ( used to be 4). The owner seems to really be cheaping out lately and has forced me to find breakfast else where. It’s sad because place was so good.

Will be going here again, and often. Definitely my new favorite brunch spot diner!! So glad we stumbled upon this place just before closing which is 2:00pm, I’d suggest getting there by 12 for full menu options. Breakfast served til 10/10:30, all day on Saturdays and YAY for that! We had the veggie plates. Squash casserole was so delicious and the lima beans and broccoli were both cooked to perfection and full of flavor! The turnip greens were good but lacked that amazing flavor that the other vegetables have. The cornbread was also really good and honestly THE BISCUITS AND ONION RINGS ARE THE BEST I’VE EVER HAD IM MY LIFE! And that’s not an exaggeration. I’m telling you I will be going back here and it will be often and this will most likely be the only place I get onion rings from for now on.
