I was driving past this small local clam shack on my way to see some family. The place looked very aesthetically pleasing. So I just had to stop by I got the scallop plate and got a bang for my buck plenty of scallops and a great amount of fries. I took my food and ate by the water in their colorful chairs. Overall great food and great area. Will definitely be going again.

This little clam shack is a standout. They just upgraded their physical space with freshly painted Adirondack chairs, in colors of the rainbow, looking out over the abutting salt marsh. The picnic benches beneath the large canopy appear new and are very clean. The food tastes fresh and is prepared to order. The staff is the expected, young summer staff. They try hard and are friendly and accommodating. Don’t expect the best seafood you’ve ever tasted, but do expect high marks from this unassuming roadside gem that offers a better atmosphere and fare than similar joints. (A bit pricey, too, for roadside. )

They do have beautiful outdoor seating. Prices are comparable to any seafood place. You might be wondering why a 4* then? 4 is still pretty good imho. But the portions are a little varied in comparison to other food places. But I also know price fluctuations and quality can change the values/amount given. None the less the food was quality and not greasy.

2 stars food wise for me. The food was completely over priced for the quality coming out of this place. Fries tasted old and they we’re cold. Lettuce on my sandwich was brown and disgusting. My family got a order of 3 clam cakes not one piece of clam in them- just pure dough. We have been coming here for years and the quality now is just terrible. The positives they do have is the workers taking orders are very nice and polite and they do have nice outdoor seating and the best tasting thing ordered was the clam chowder.

Terrible awful bad clams with bellies. Not cleaned properly and soggy for 42.00. I told THEM there was an problem and the didn’t respond. Now I’m taking measures so I will not be ill from this poorly prepared shellfish. YIKES. PLEASE DONT GO THERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

They can get very busy, especially on weekends and holidays, but the food is good, good size portions and good prices on most all the seafood items.

Truly a clam shack. Service was good but the food was only so-so Chowder’s lukewarm not too much substance clam cakes were rubbery like they’ve been reheated. I won’t be coming back here anytime soon.
