Stopped here with my wife and granddaughters after a day at Hersheypark. I grew up in Ship but moved a way many years ago. We were getting hungry as we were driving and were in the area to thought about Diffy’s as it was a great place to eat. We weren’t disappointed as the waitress and other employees were friendly and promptly waited on us. I had a BLT with Onion Rings and it was fresh and tasty. Granddaughters had spaghetti and my wife had chicken w/green beans. Good to know this restaurant hasn’t lost its touch after all these years.

My family came to Diffy’s family restaurant Sunday evening. We shared a plate of mozzarella sticks and breaded mushrooms. I had a crispy chicken sandwich with fries, my husband had a fish hoagie which was quite large with onion rings, my daughter had a pizza burger she said it was ” meh” the sauce wasn’t too good. My granddaughter had the grilled cheese with Apple sauce. She loved hers. The server was attentive and the prices were really reasonable for all the food we received. A good deal!

I gave this place 5 stars for the service. Allison is amazing! She was handling 2 sections and was so busy but was still able to communicate and give us excellent service. Even when she thought she was slacking she apologized. She gave great and honest recommendations. People need to be understanding when dining out. That this industry is struggling. Allison was truly great and awesome! If you come to the Duffy’s in plantation ask for her!!!! I promise You won’t regret it!

The food was delicious. However the waitress (she did not introduce her name)who helped us did not pay attention to our table.We knew going in they were busy and that there would be a wait. However what we did not expect was to be accused of walking out with out paying. My mom took my girls out to the car while I waited at the register in plain sight of the waitress ,for the check and to pay. We had waited for twenty minutes for the waitress to come back to give us the check and she did not. So I waited in front of her. she did not acknowledge me only ran to the back for the cook while causing a scene that we had left without paying. when in fact I did not leave. I told them that as they were huffing around and the waitress just stopped and looked at me. Then came over and proceeded to check me out. No apology for her behavior. I went to leave and the waitress was just laughing. I did go back in to explain to her how she made me feel and she did not seem to care. Charles the manager seemed more concerned that he didn’t get the whole story before running out after me. It was HUMILIATING! I hope that they do not get the chance to do this to another customer. It was embarrassing to say the least. It frightened my youngest daughter as well. Please give better customer service training. All that she would have had to do was look and she would have seen I was patiently waiting on her to finish her job as I had done all evening. Very. upsetting.

We love Diffy’s!! While we do not live close enough to go very often, we do make it a point to go every time we are in the area! The food is always delicious and served fresh / hot! The staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. We would love it if they released a “History of Diffy’s” book with the photos of their origins – we would definitely buy it!

This Restaurant has been around for a long time…I understand that they used to bring your food up to your car.. a lot of locals eat there…..now it is a fairly large restaurant that is in need of new carpeting and some modernization. We sat at a booth,ordered our food and saw where there were flies crawling over the table. We moved to a table where we ate our hot beef sandwiches with gravy and French fries. The food was better than average compared to other restaurants that are similar.Our server was attentive. Prices are not bad. Would have given a 4 star if no flies and carpet,even though old, was clean. Doubt if we would go back.
