I recommend shrimp dumplings, custard bun, and egg tart. This place is “you get what you get for the price.” The prices are very cheap — most items are $1.30. The shrimp dumpling is really soft and stuffed with shrimp, which I absolutely loved. I also liked the custard bun and egg tart because they were super cheap. But overall, it wasn’t “so delicious that I would go back” kind of place.

Dim sum takeaway by the item, you tick the items you want on the piece of paper provided. Very good prices – box of goodies in the photo for just over $10. Standout item was the egg tart. Prawn dumpling and custard bun were great too. Slightly disappointed by the pork bun and didn’t enjoy the fan-guo.

Still has the best cha siu pork buns but it has been hit by shrinkflation. Last year the buns were larger and has way more pork. Now they are about 2/3 the size they used to be. Also check your receipts and items. The past 3 times I was there they missed a few items that I paid for. Also they charge for the plastic to go boxes, $.15 for the small box and $.30 for the large box. It’s like if a coffee shop charged you for the coffee, the cup, the lid, the sleeve, and the stirring stick separately. It feels like they are forcibly nickel and dime on you. The prices for the food is pretty cheap, but considering everything that they are doing, the prices aren’t that competitive enough for me to ignore the new way how they run this business.

Dim Sum King has some great tasting Dim Sums in International District / Chinatown. It seems like their prices have gone up recently. Staff has always been a bit rude, but that’s authentic Cantonese experience. (Slightly joking here )

I thought I’d give this place a try on my trip and I’m so glad I did! No line. It was nice to just get as much as you’d want and it was a decent price. Got everything in the 3rd photo for about $18.

The best it gets in the area; well priced, really really delicious and authentic, local, fast service, and consistent. The shrimp dumplings here are the best I’ve had in the states! Clearly, things are hand made from scratch (not frozen or shipped!) and they all taste delicious hot or cold (leftovers mm). Ordering is simply done on a sheet of paper and handed over to one of the busy workers. They have a clean establishment with plenty of pictures to guide customers. I highly recommend the steamed rice cake, sesame ball, SHRIMP DUMPLINGS DUH, and at least a turnip cake! Love this place.

The cheapest dim sum in Seattle I’ve found. I go here pretty frequently. I really like the shrimp dumplings, the lotus balls, and the peanut mochi. They do tack on a bag and container charge, but it’s less than a dollar. I’d recommend paying cash simply bc there is a charge for a sub 10 dollar purchase.

Pretty decent food for great prices! You can order things individually. The prices for each food item is 1.40, give or take 20 cents. I’ve dim sum that tasted better in sit-down restaurants BUT you can’t beat the price and convenience!

I’m in the area for a week-long workshop at the Luke Wing Museum. Another participant told me about Dim Sum King. Such a fantastic place! Low prices for small portions, which is perfect for trying different things. A fun way to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I had.
