Great food and service. Located in the Thomson Hotel Lobby. Went for dinner on Sunday and ordered some items from happy hour also. Baked oysters, fried ugali, and baked chicken wings were excellent. Entree Day boat catch was a Pan-seared red snapper with clamps dish and was amazing. The fish was cooked perfectly, but I wouldn’t say I liked the clams in it. I didn’t like the “in the night” bourbon cocktail (too sweet for me), but the host replaced it with old-fashioned bourbon, which was excellent. Dessert was just ok. The complimentary lavender lemon popsicle was tasty! Restaurant validates hotel valet parking that saves $20!

Amazing Happy Hour menu with $8 burger, $8 baked chicken wings, $10 wine $10 martinis. And everything was super delicious. Burger with caramelized onions cannot be missed. Great friendly service, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Update: Chef Bailey continues to create spectacular dishes and she has some upcoming collaborations with other chefs that sound amazing. I tell everyone about The Diner Bar. I went again last night for an incredible evening. Mashama, thanks for chatting with us before the wonderful cuisine! We ordered the deviled eggs (fantastic with roe on top), the pork shoulder, ricotta gnudi, and pork raviolo, and for dessert the Benne Bar. All the dishes were incredible!! We were so excited to dine here but were, unfortunately, disappointed. The night we dined the menu was sort of all over the place. We ordered a new dish they were testing and it was so salty we couldn’t eat it, but the server and kitchen were very understanding.
