2/23 Ding a Ling deli. Smallish breakfast joint out on North end Okeechobee lake headed down the Northwest side out of Okeechobee City. I enjoyed the special of the day. 2 potato skins cooked well, loaded with eggs, cheese, gravy and crumbled bacon on top. $5.99. Good coffee and lots of artifacts to browse while waiting on the single bathroom. The folks all help each other, with meals and table deliveries. Staff is good. Parking is adequate and we had no wait at 9am. Give them a try, you’ll be glad you have.

Loved the food I live in Vero go to Okeechobee on weekends to see my son and his family we have ordered there a couple of times for delivery .but I did stop to get a Ruben and a sweet tea THE BEST /and the server’s we’re all awesome .thanks for the kindness you all showed me! That these days means a lot and I forget to take pictures it’s so cute in there keep up the good work! See you soon went back this weekend get some home made soup! In Okeechobee this weekend from Vero Beach come here to see my son and daughter every time I come here I eat there had a Ruben was off the chain great food love it

This place used to be good, but the last 4 times it is horrible. The au jus was brown water. The sandwich was paprika forward that was the only flavor. The chef salad was worse. After asking for no onions and no American cheese. It came loaded with onions and no cheese whatsoever. It had. Very little of anything except for the iceberg lettuce, the “homemade” ranch dressing was yuck.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stop while biking the Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail (LOST), 120 mile loop around the Lake, which passes within a hundred yards of the Deli. Okeechobee Chicken Sandwich on Sourdough was great. Friendly faces behind the counter.
