This one was a hard one to review. For the most part, the service was good. Coffee was always filled, but 1 of the 2 waitresses looked like she needed the coffee more than me. The steak wasn’t that great. Had no flavor, & trying to eat that tuff steak with a butter knife was a process for sure. The oatmeal was good. Hashbrowns weren’t bad as well. On my way out, I downed my coffee & got a mouth full of grounds….. Which in turn knocked my review from a 4 to a 3.

This was my Grandma’s favorite restaurant. I am happy that this local haunt is still going strong keeping the tradition going in one of Sauk Centre’s best kept secrets right off the Lake Wobegon Trail.

Very very comfortable restaurant. We stopped to eat and stretch here while venturing to the cities. The food was AMAZING. The staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend eating here.
