Absolutely terrible. They are absolutely never on time with orders. When you call to check on your order, be prepared to be put on hold for at least half an hour. I have ordered from them a few dozen times always hoping for improved service… still waiting. I started using DoorDash and have been much happier with them. I went back to Dining In tonight because I was craving something only they deliver, and wouldn’t you know it, they now have an over $80 minimum order for this restaurant. That is ridiculous. I’m staying away and everyone else should too.

I have used Dinning in over 200 times with no problems. I will never, NEVER use them again. I ordered food which was to be delivered by 7:15 p.m. at 8:00 p.m., I called dinning in to inquire about my order. A 20 year old named Benjamin took my call and then put me on hold for over 50 minutes. During the hold I called the restaurant who informed my my order was ready and been sitting there for over an hour. “Benjamin” never picked up my call from hold, instead the call was cut off after an hour on hold. I can not believe that a company would treat a customer like me, who had been so loyal for years, like this. It is really sad. Do not use Dinning in.

I drove for them for six months. They treat thier drivers as bad or worse than these customers. They mark up everything they sell on the restaurant menus, and take half of the delivery fee. The dispatchers know which orders have big tips and which have small tips, because the tip is added when the order is placed. The favored drivers get the big tips. I once dropped an order downtown at 5:10 PM and sat in my car for 20 minutes before my next order. The order was for tacos from a local chain. There is a location in Deep Ellum, about 1/4 mile away. Instead, the dispatcher sent me to the location at Mockingbird and Abrams. At 5:30 on a Friday @ rush hour. To be delivered at Lomo Alto and Lemmon. The dispatcher deserves the bulk of the blame for all timing/late problems, not the drivers. I got fed up with only getting the orders with $1.25 to $1.50 tips, and with being exploited. Dining In gets their $ from food markups and delivery fees, we got ours from the tips.

Used it once to order Black Eyed Pea had no problems, my order was actually delivered early. Used it again for On the Border and the order was 1.5 hours late. Lukewarm food, hot soda cans and melted ice cream was not worth the money I paid for it. Probably will not be trying again.

Worst delivery service ever. It was over a two hour wait. Even after two hours I never received my food. I called Dining In and I was placed on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. Never again. 0 stars.
