I’ve been going to Dino’s for almost 50 years and it is so nice nice to go somewhere that stays the same and is consistent. They were a little short staffed but when things got going it was perfect! Our server was super sweet and efficient. The food was great as usual. We now live north of the city but this place will always be on our list.

My wife and I dined at Dino’s a few times and enjoyed everything about it. The food, atmosphere, service and prices are great. Ate there last night again and ordered the veal parm with ravioli and the Italian salad. The salad was very good. What I’ve found after ordering different entrees each visit is that the sauce can overpower the plate. It’s good, but I should order half sauce. I’m looking forward to going back and trying their pizza.

Our most recent visit was, sadly, rather disappointing. Our server Melissa was excellent! It was the food that was not on par with past visits. The (meat) gravy, marinara sauce, and the ravioli (filling) all were salty, almost unbearably so. I understand salt is a good seasoning to elevate the flavor of food, but it absolutely should NOT be so overwhelming that it dries out one’s mouth, and elevates one’s blood pressure (who already has high blood pressure)! I cook Italian food at home and I’ve eaten Italian food cooked by Italians and never was salt used so excessively that it overpowered the actual flavors and other ingredients in the food. Your paying patrons health must be considered!! As much as other family members and I have enjoyed the food here in the past, I’m afraid we won’t be returning for a meal until the oversalting situation can be remedied. My blood pressure won’t allow it. That being said, we will return for dessert (tiramisu especially) and coffee and the great service!

I love that place but I had spaghetti and meatballs yesterday and it was amazing. I had the chicken parm today couldn’t even cut the chicken. Way overcooked. I still recommend this place. Not sure who was cooking today but they need to be retrained

One of the best kept Italian secrets in town!! Love the Lasagna most of all but they also have a great Muffaletta and their Tamales with Chili are fantastic (wasn’t a huge fan of the Tamale w/Chili & Spaghetti combo but it was different & okay but will stick the Tamale/Chili combo going forward). Great food & great staff makes this an all time Italian fav for this lifelong Memphis area resident!!

The best tiramisu in Memphis! Old-school diner with the coziest, homey atmosphere and friendly service. The food is classic Italian-American in the South. Think Texas toast garlic bread and an uncanny prevalence of white American cheese. But that’s part of the allure of Dino’s—where else will you find this alongside homemade chicken and spinach ravioli and homemade tiramisu? Favorites include the stuffed shells and ravioli (including toasted), muffuletta, and meat-and-three plate lunches. Memphis-style hot tamales and the three-way tamales plate. They offer bottled beer but bring your own wine—no corkage fee. Hopefully they bring back breakfast soon!

This place is phenomenal. Best lil whole in the wall, unknown gem in the city! Everything we had was made from scratch old school Italian recipes. Even the home made Italian dressing with chunky whole minced garlic celery onions and olives made my day! The garlic butter sauce lacked a bit of pizazz but our wonderful server John helped me out with some parmesan pesto sauce that did the trick. The chix parm was a full filet of chic battered with the family sauce recipe. The chix alfredo classic delicious. John’s knowledge of the history of the diner and the food was second to none. He attended our every need and made our experience exceptional. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience while out dining with my family.
