Came here after a doc visit. Food is great. Many gluten free options. Springs rolls. They were able to customise my order and omit shrimp per my request as well. I added myshrooms to the chicken spring roll. Hearty portions! The thai coffee has dairy free option add on. Its a serious kick. Jolted. On a weekday this place was fast. Took about 7min from order to be ready. Next to a nice community garden. Got to see some hummingbirds feeding and singing.

Some friends recommended this place to us. If you don’t know the place is there you are going to miss it. The sandwiches are amazing and the rolls too. The beef one is my favorite. Pork one is good too. The service is not good but the food and the price is worth it. You can pick the food up or use the tables in the park.

Finally got the chance to try this banh mi place out in my neighborhood. I always see lots of people in line/hanging out near this little booth. While it’s just a to go spot, there are some outdoor chairs and tables set up in the lot next to it. I went around 2pm and there was no line. I noticed a lot of people ordered online and picked up their food. I ordered two of the specials. I was super excited that pate was included in the sandwich and wasn’t an additional cost (you can still add it for $1.50 for the other sandwiches). The food came out quickly and you could feel how warm the toasted baguette was. There were generous portions of veggies, meat, and pate. The meat was a little dry, but the banh mi was still tasty overall. The bread was perfectly toasted and was great for a late lunch.

Love their chicken banh mi and shrimp/pork spring rolls! We always try to stop by if we’re headed to the zoo or cal academy is our to-go lunch spot. Prices are pretty steep for just a sandwich operated out of a tiny bungalow but I guess that’s just inflation/SF rates.

Ordered “The Special” bahn mi w/o the fancy pork it was one of the best bahn mi i’ve had in the bay. The french bread was hot and crispy, it was perfect!!! I cant wait to try the other kinds.

Had the Spicy Tuna sandwich. Good meat to sandwich ratio, quality bread, all in all tasty. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also great. Would definitely come back to try more.

Came here on Sunday for lunch, and we thought it’d just be a grab and go so we can enjoy it at the park. However, we waited for over an hour. When we decided to check in why it took so long, and he said the printer ran out of paper, so the order never got through the kitchen. First of all, if there is a line, he should have let us know the wait time. Secondly, if the printer is not working you should have just let us know when it happened, instead of letting us wait an hour. Also, they did not seem to be apologetic at all. Based on this experience, I will never come back again, and I do not recommend to other customers either. Worsts service ever.
