I would wash dishes here for free just so I could get a meal everyday.

What an experience! From the staff to the food, everything is worth bragging about! Starting with choosing your broth, and your meat there is an endless amount of pairings. The staf perfectly executed the explanation on how to cook your meat. They ended our dinner with a complimentary dessert as a Thank you which I found to be a nice touch. I will be telling my friends who visit Austin it’s a must stop.

It wasn’t a meal… it was an experience… the service was magical and the atmosphere was like one of those YouTube reels where people are jumping into waterfalls and inspirational music is playing in the background.

Great vibe. Solid food. Too pricey for what we got – but solid option

Fun fun fun is Dip Dip Dip. Japanese hot pot in a cozy limited seating space. In Japanese fashion, the comforts are minimal. No plush, cozy private dining booths. You’ll find spare wood seats, tucked next to simple tables where your fellow diners are separated only by wood, 3 tiered serving trays. That’s OK, because this isn’t a place to impress a first date with your table etiquette. The joy is swirling around shrimp meatballs, mushrooms, prime meats and more, in hot broth, hollandaise, queso ( yes, and it’s amazing) and whatever other warm tasty sauces they bring out for you. You’ll dribble, drop the meatball back in the broth, and slurp up the most incredible house made Ramen. It’s fun, and the service leaves you feeling welcomed and cared for.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday there and the staff did a wonderful job! First they wrote a very nice letter to my wife and then our waiter, Santi, did a an amazing job, he was super friendly. The food was so delicious! We ordered the Omakase (5 courses) and that was perfect! We strongly recommend this place for romantic date night. We will definitely come back!

You can’t go wrong with any option on this menu but if you’re going to splurge, would HIGHLY recommend the Japanese Kobe beef. Be sure to try it raw and slightly cooked! Also, do not skip the truffle dipping sauce either. It’s an extra charge, but it’s 100% worth it.

From the moment we walked up we were welcomed with kindness (as walk ins too!). The service was top notch, the drinks were top shelf and delicious (The Baku is one of the best balanced cocktails I’ve ever had), the food was superb ( seafood meatballs for the win), and the ambience and service were unmatched. A true cultural gem in the Austin food scene!!

Want a cozy adventure? Give DipDipDip a try. The service was great, from the host to the wait staff, everyone was personable, patient, kind and fun. This was our first time there, and the waiter was accommodating even when we decided to swap out a broth that didn’t suite our tastes. Whether you’re vegetarian or eat meat and seafood, all the ingredients are super fresh and delicious, even if you decide not to use your dips. My favorite dip was a mustard wasabi mix. Also, the sake selection is top notch. We got there when it was still early and quieter, as the place filled up, it got louder, as to be expected. The only down side is that because everyone sits so close together the volume made it challenging to hold a conversation. I’m definitely going back, and next time I’m leaving room for dessert!
