Hands down this is the best burger in the Bay. I stumbled across Project Burger in 2019, and have never been disappointed. The 1/2lb, grass-fed beef patty is cooked to order and is on point every.single.time. The fries are fantastic, with the right ratio of crisp outside to soft inside.

Had an excellent Kobe burger with a glass of chardonnay. My companion had a vanilla shake followed by a sample of the Alameda Soda Co’s Black Cherry soda. Friendly service. Pleasant ambiance.

Had a great burger and fries. The really nice chef and owner also makes a lot of items not on the menu. I’ve heard the fish tacos, calamari salad, feta pizza and other Middle Eastern fare is also excellent.

Vegetarian here- this place makes a seriously amazing veggie burger! Best in Alameda, for sure. Normally burgers suffer during take out/delivery but this place wraps everything so thoughtfully nothing comes soggy or smashed which really shows that extra level of care.

I’ve been here twice and I think it’s my favorite burger in the Bay Area! The owner is funny and obviously proud of what he creates. My medium rare burger was cooked perfectly with a ton of avocado and bacon. The fries are fresh and yummy. High quality food!

Grass fed burger was huge and delicious. My friend had the fried chicken sandwich and it was great, too. Pistachio milkshake and a cold IPA topped it off. I’ve only been once, but I live down the street and I’ll definitely be coming back.

We had the California burger. Here’s a picture! It was large, fresh, and damn solid. Fries were thicker and we’re a bit soggy, but that’s still good – it’s a French fry. Wait time was a tad long but next time I’m there I can go over to he connected bar while I wait for my made to order beef sando. They have some local soda here which was great as well.
