It was a great place to eat. Lots of cool drawings. We got there and had a 20 min wait…which was fine. 3 groups of people who came in after us were seated before us and that was a little irritating. The food was good just a bit too salty. I also had a Chilton and it was great. Our waitress was outstanding. Would definitely go back.

Great food without unnecessary frills. Simple food executed very well. Oysters were fresh and tasty. Cocktails were delicious and well made. Even with a full restaurant we were sat quickly and food was out fast.

Business lunch. Come early because this place fills up quickly and stays busy. But there’s a reason. Shrimp and grits were wonderful. Cheddar grits had an amazing flavor. Side of andouille gumbo was so good it should just be it’s own full size dish. Been here several times separately and always had an excellent experience. The art is amazing as well!

Yummy! So tasty We had the Asian Zing and Rotisserie Chicken. Sides included fresh and hot fries, delicious creamed corn and mashed potatoes. Wish they had dessert But it was More then enough food! Just know, that if you come during lunch hours it is packed… But we’ll worth it! We will be back

Normally this place is packed so when we saw just a few cars in the lot we came right in. Food was good and portions were large. Cook was bit heavy handed with salt but you could work around it. Next time I’ll try ordering the chicken unsalted.

So delicious! Southern comfort meets creole! I had the shrimp and grits with collard greens and I couldn’t put my fork down. Our server Luke was polite, fast, and professional. It’s like he knew what we needed before we did. The atmosphere was relaxing. Perfect for a college town. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Lubbock!

Took friends for lunch after telling them this was the best fried chicken in town. Sadly we hit on a bad day. While our food came out in 10 minutes my fried chicken was dry and overcooked. The sides were good.
