Beyond the white picket fences of club west and the packed beach you’ll find yourself a little jewel called Dixie Blue. I don’t recommend this place for a first date, but if you don’t care about getting your face dirty with finger licking good barbecue than be my guest. Ribs were fantastic. Beans were a little on the sweeter side. Jalapeño corn bread I could eat. Make your own pulled pork … add some bbq and viola! Our favorite BBQ on this north side. Enjoy.

Our grandsons love to go here and so do we. I had my brisket with Mac and cheese, as I usually get their Cole slaw, along with a beer. Then grandsons had pulled pork and fries. Really enjoyed all. Yum! You order at counter and they deliver. Their brisket is great! Have soft drinks, wine and beer( draft and bottle) and lemonade too!

This place is awesome. It has great southern food with a sort of Midwestern vibe. The food, oh the food is to die for. The Brisket, Sausage, Ribs, Pork, even all the way down to the smallest of items like the coleslaw and sauce; it’s all incredible. Staff is super cool. This place has won awards for their food and after eating here, you’ll understand why!!!

We’ve been going to Dixie Blue since it opened. No matter the time of day you go, the meat is ALWAYS tender, juicy and delicious. Generous portions and seasoned perfectly. Why anyone goes to a Famous Daves when they have this in the neighborhood is completely baffling. We’ve never been disappointed in any of the food. The fries are delicious as well which is just the cherry on top. Try the beef brisket sandwich!! It’s huge and perfection on a bun!

Great food! Wonderful aroma. Love this place! I recommend all the BBQ. My favorite sandwiches are the Pulled Pork, the Brisquet, and I am a huge fan of the Chicken & Wild Rice Soup! I have not found a soup or chili I did not like from Dixie Blue and I try to eat there at least once a week! It’s hard to try the rest of the menu when you have favorites.

Love it, love it, love it! We live within walking distance of this restaurant and are frequent customers. Excellent family-owned joint. The regular BBQ sauce is one of my favorites. Ribs, rib rips, brisket, pulled pork, chicken – it’s all excellent. I’ve tried most everything and haven’t had something I didn’t like. Their cornbread is phenomenal and my wife’s personal favorite side is the sweet potato fries. Definitely worth the trip if you have a little drive.

Awesome service and food. I’ve had BBQ from a few different states, in a bunch of different styles so I’m not speaking from a place that doesn’t know for sure what amazing BBQ is and this place is amazing. The brisket was the best, my husband was the one who ordered it and I got to try a few bites then almost just decided to order another meal for more brisket.

Wow… I can honestly say that was some darn good BBQ. Hubby and I were there last night. Ordered the two meat special with two sides. I got chicken and brisket with broccoli salad and Mac and cheese and corn bread. I don’t have the words to describe how flavorful everything was. Hubby got rub tips and brisket. They also have beer on tab along with bottles and wine. The staff was friendly and knew the menu well. We’ll be going back for sure. New local Blaine spot.
