Me and my friend went to Dixie Castle for dinner tonight. We had good food and conversation. I had chicken, baked potato and a salad. It was very good! I finally got to go to this restaurant, I’ve been wanting to for a while.

Thursday lunch plates are what keep me coming back here. It’s a full meal for a really great price. The steaks used to be a highlight as well but since they’ve changed cuts, I no longer come here for those. I would suggest calling ahead even if it’s a lunch plate to-go. Sometimes there can be an excessive wait such as today.

Special of the night. 10 oz. Ribeye, baked potato, salad and Texas toast. $15.99. It was delicious. And they even had a huge basket of Captain’s Wafers and butter on the table

Love the food at Dixie Castle. Too bad I’m only in that area once or twice a year.

I had grilled chicken and a baked potatoe and side salad and had old-fashioned banana pudding, which is one of my favorites that reminds me of how my grandmother made it.

Moo, They got a lot of home style cooking here and have a different lunch specials every day. Parking is very limited and it gets crowded pretty fast. Friendly staff.

Awesome place to get lunch. Home cooking, great taste, no frills… just good food. The chess pie is da bomb.

The food is good and the place is busy. Not a lot of variety on the menu, but they do what they do well. Grilled chicken, chops, steaks, shrimp and more. Potatoes are the only real side dish… would like to see more cooked vegetables on the menu. The sauteed mushrooms are very tasty. Great service, warm and friendly atmosphere, small town Cafe feel. Always enjoy my visits here.
