I’d say my overall experience was good. My server though had zero personality. I asked for ranch and never saw it or her again after getting my food. I heard they make good ranch and really wanted to try it but no luck. Tried waving her down but she never looked my way or came back to ask how it’s going.

Old fashioned catfish house located in atmore Alabama. Wow! It was great! Super friendly service, ample parking and wheelchair accessible. My steak was fork tender and I never used a knife once! Everything was made to order and generous portions. Very reasonable, sweet tea was just right, and take out orders available. I’ll definitely be back!

Being a first timer there…The cashier/waitress helped us with the menu and accommodated us on some specific items that were favorable favorites. Service was very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was very spacious and comfortable. The food we ordered was very tasty and will be coming back soon. I was very thankful for the service and food! Highly recommended on my part. My husband and I dined there on 3/25/23 and he ordered the all you can eat whole cat fish. His fish was huge! The meat was at least an inch thick. And it was delicious! With that said, we always have a good experience here. Love the place.

Pass up the Sonic, McDs and other fast food places at this exit. Keep going and get yourself to Dixie! Some of the best catfish I’ve ever had! Perfectly crisp and tender. And the sides were just as good! Fine cut slaw and corn fritters…dang good. Very friendly and the portions were huge!

Food was absolutely delicious. The crab claws were out of this world and the fried catfish was impeccable. Our server was very knowledgeable as to where the fish, crabs, and oysters came from. She made these two old Georgia people feel welcome and attended to our every need. Our hat is off to the chefs and servers. Thank goodness we were on that road and went past it for several miles turned around and came back to Dixie Catfish. Stop in and see them in Atmore, Ala. I promise you want be disappointed.
