Let me get this out of the way, the service is friendly but disorganized. It is their second week open, so hopefully that will get better. Now, the food. The brisket and pulled pork is as good as I have had at any restaurant. The ribs are tender and have decent flavor. The chicken has a seasoning on the skin that I didn’t care for but when I took the skin off the chicken itself is quite good. Beans, potato salad and mac and cheese were all pretty good. I thought the coleslaw was average but not bad by any means. They had 5 or 6 different type of sauces to choose from, they have a KC Masterpiece type taste. The desserts were outstanding, peanut butter mousse type thing and apple crumble bar. The prices are inline with any other BBQ place I have eaten and you won’t go away hungry.

If you are within an hour of this place, do yourself a favor and check it out. Reasonable prices for a massive amount of food. Plan on leftovers and if you don’t want them, contact me and I’ll come get them….just kidding, but it is that good.

Dixieland BBQ is open Thursday through Sunday. We got there an hour before closing on Sunday evening. They had just run out of ribs, so my wife had the brisket and I had the pulled pork and chicken. Everything was very good including the sides of baked beans, potato salad and the mac and cheese. Dinner includes dessert and your non-alcoholic beverage. They do have beer also. We will be back to try the ribs. Recommended

Very friendly people and a clean, tidy place if you know where to find it. But try to find them cuz the food is worth it. Prices are good and the food is great. They are getting some word of mouth advertising but a bigger sign or other advertising would help them. Most of my friends have no idea who or where they are.

We had the pulled pork. Nice and juicy with four choices of sauce to put on your smoked meat. Two sides, dessert, and a drink comes with your meal.

I’ve actually never been here, there’s a laundry mat next door. There are great smells coming from there though, I wish they’d put out some signs and/or ads to let people know their hours and specials.
