I got to DJ’s Northport at 11:30 AM when they opened. The employees were working diligently cleaning the tables and stocking the napkins. They were very friendly and attentive while taking my to go order. The Lobster rolls and sweet potato fries were excellent when I got home. My only disappointment was that the owners don’t provide the employees with DJ’S t-shirts to look more professional.

We passed DJ’s on our way home from an appointment. We were surprised to see it in Northport Long Island . We had been to one in Florida. We stopped in to get take out. I am big on Conch and had the fritters. They were well prepared and crispy. The way I like them. My wife had the Mahi Tacos with onion rings and was happy with her selection. You can eat in or take out. This was our first time but we will be back. We passed it along to our son who has since stopped in.

Best sweet potato fries I ever had. The sauces were unique and complimentary. I got a whole lobster claw in my sandwich. The bread was sooo fresh. Cole slaw was amazing I wish I could buy a half pound to take home. The onion rings… Perfection.

Stopped in after a hike for lunch to-go. We got the cold lobster roll, and the over stuffed warm lobster roll, coleslaw, and fries. It was all SO GOOD! Both the lobster rolls had a good amount of lobster. It’s hard to say which was yummier – the cold with Mayo or the warm with butter. Either way we were both very happy.

Really delicious lobster rolls. I wish there was less traffic so the outdoor seating could be enjoyed a bit more but that’s not DJs fault. Worth the trip. Go with the overstuffed roll!

Tasty Joint! Regular size cold lobster roll was delicious. Awesome sweet potatoe fries. I think I was the 1st person in for on-site lunch. Staff was friendly & courteous. Got to taste the lobster bisque which I will be getting next time I’m there! $28 with small drink, definitely worth the treat that I was ready for. They have alcohol too what a bonus! Wait till my lad gets there, this will be our go to spot for rolls! I’m almost positive I drank there 40 years ago as people’s pub! Huge improvement!

Overall, EXCELLENT. The ambiance is fun and the staff is friendly and checked in on us frequently during our visit. We ordered the hot lobster roll and kung pow calamari, both dishes were massive servings and delicious. The lobster roll was just the right amount of sweetness and the roll was dense enough to not fall apart from the lobster juice. The calamari was perfectly, lightly breaded and cooked just right. The sauce added a nice sweet and sour flavor. Highly recommend and plan on coming here again.
