Overall I thought DJs was just ok. Not sure if I would go back, especially for what everything cost.

Love this location (besides the original Key West one). This is our go to spot for hot lobster rolls.

Overall did not have a good experience here at all. The place is very cute and I liked the indoor/ outdoor area. Menu had a lot on it and you definitely have your options. Staff was friendly but that soon ended when we placed our order. We ordered the clam chowder, I ordered the Ipswich clams and my mom wanted the lobster empanada. Mine came with fries and cole slaw and the menu specifically says that the lobster empanada comes with fries or coleslaw. The girls behind the counter insisted it didn’t! It blatantly said it right on the menu so how can you deny it? If that’s the case then take it off the menu! Now having spent a nice weekend in Boston/ cape cod/ Connecticut last weekend, I had high expectations for the food. The clam chowder was just okay. Lobster empanada barely had any lobster in it. Fries were good and coleslaw was good but the clams…… not good. They were bitter, sandy and really gross compared to the ones I’ve had in New England. I wouldn’t go back unfortunately.

Food is well below average for the price. Lobster rolls had cartilage and shell mixed in and for the price we paid it needed to be perfect.

Had high expectations, but were very disappointed. We ordered two fish and chips. The place was not especially busy, but it took almost 40 minutes for our food to arrive; it should have taken 10. The outside eating area was dirty – dropped food and napkins under the tables; trash blown around bushes and stairs. The fish came out hot and tasted fresh, but it hadn’t been drained properly and was saturated with oil. Also, for $15, there wasn’t enough – two moderately sized pieces, like a kids meal. And the 4% “checkout fee” (cc surcharge) is excessive and is never appreciated. The bill came to $60 for two small fish and chips and two 12 oz draft beers, tax and 15% tip (bus your own table). Overall, an unpleasant experience and poor value.

My husband and I went for lunch. We walked in and the girl at the counter didn’t greet or acknowledge us. People were bumping into us trying to grab beer from the refrigerator in the entry way. I asked 3 times to be seated she finally explained how it worked with ordering at the counter. We asked about little neck calms as opposed to cherry stones and she became annoyed and asked another girl to help us. We left and never ate. Would never go back. In this day and age with rents, food costs and competitions can restaurants at least train there staff to be deceit and polite. Nothing wrong with being busy and a quick hello and direction for a customer.

Good food but way over priced. And I don’t mind over paying for good food but when I spend $22 for two skinny pieces of breaded “fish” which was mainly bread and French fries, and I’m still hungry I’ll never go here again. Below is a photo what you get.
