Stopped by to get my first taste of cheese curds. Wasn’t impressed. Very chewy and greasy. Couldn’t finish my order. The service was fine. The lady who took my order was pleasant. I’m pretty sure I past the cooks outside smoking when I entered because I had to wait for them to come back in to get the order filled. Maybe they were all on break at 1:30 in the afternoon, 30 minutes before closing and/or maybe my expectations were too high for cheese curds.

We go to DJ’s 3 to 4 times a year when visiting with family near there and its unbelievable how affordable the food is. It reminds me of eating at the Husky’s in Northern Ontario Canada. $8.00 for a full and I do mean a full breakfast with bottomless coffee. Clean, well stocked, sanitized bathrooms. The staff is really nice to chat with and very attentive to the customers. Great coffee at .99 cents a cup. Small country establishment using local fare -and you can really see and taste it-. Really affordable -wow! Clean sitting areas either booth or table. Well lit and clean. Highly recommend.

10/10/20 We ordered special ‘mashed potatoes with hamburger gravy and cole slaw’. The slaw was spoiled, and the plate set in front of me was overflowing the plate with what looked like dog food. I took a picture of the ‘poo food’ and the ticket price for both our orders. We did not eat it. But paid for it. I looked bad, smelled bad, and well I one bite of rotten slaw and he took few bites of slaw and ‘poo’. Just awful. We will never go ther again.
