My daughter and I were craving some Jamaican food and decided to try out this restaurant via UberEats (pickup) because it was almost closing time. I ordered Jerk Shrimp, festival, plantains (for my daughter) and a Ting. We arrived for pickup about 5 minutes before closing and the owner was super nice and communicative. He told me he was about to make my order and I reassured him it was fine and to take his time since I submitted my order so close to closing time. It only took about 10 minutes after arrival to receive our food. The restaurant is super clean and welcoming! The food was hot and fresh! Everything was extremely tasty! The festival was crispy on the outside but a tad dense on the inside, yet still yummy! Jerk shrimp was delicious and not overly spicy. The new owner was very accommodating, friendly and professional. He explained they are under new management and are in the process of getting the reputation of restaurant back up.I will be back again for sure. The service and food have earned them a loyal customer.

I’m always skeptical about trying new Jamaican spots . But I decided to give this one a try because of the good reviews! And I was not disappointed. The curry was well seasoned and the food was fresh . The cabbage could’ve been seasoned more but it’s still pretty good. I highly recommend this place .

So I had a craving for some GOOD Jamaican food. I haven’t had the best experience but seen the reviews and said, why not. When my two year old says, mommy this good then yes! She was absolutely right. We enjoyed the food, was eating in the car and couldn’t even wait till we got home. Plus I didn’t live close by and we were hungry. Glad we decided to take the ride. Keep up the good work, service and cleanliness…..IT MATTERS

I happened to drive past D&L on my way home from work and decided to check it out. I’m definitely glad that I did. Dwight gave me excellent customer service! He was super personable and took care of me for sure. I ordered the jerk shrimp with cabbage and rice and peas. Food was flavorful and still hot by the time I got home. The shrimp were a nice size too, my guess is they were extra large or jumbo. The rice was fluffy and delicious as well. My only critique would be for the the cabbage which could use a touch more seasoning, but all in all, I certainly see myself becoming a regular.

This is the best Caribbean food I have ever eaten. I ordered the escoviched fish dinner for myself and got the combo oxtail and curry chicken for my son. I was very impressed with the service not to mention my fish was made to order. Both dinners were very flavorful and had the right amount of seasoning. Oh, the rum cake was very tasty as well. My son and I will definitely be coming back. Hands down the best in the DMV; give them a try and you will not be disappointed. Thank you D&L Cuisine.

The food was Amazing!!!! The Customer service was also Great…… I came in an order Jerk chicken and it came with plantains by the time I got home the plantains were not in there I called and the manager said he would deliver them to me and he sure did. Wowwwww that was some bomb customer service. I will definitely be going back.

The order was packed well for delivery. Prices were very fair for the large portions of food. The food was ok, some what flavorless/bland. Got the stew chicken dinner and plantains. On the menu it said leg quarters, but I got breast, not really a fan of white meat. Chicken didn’t really taste like anything save was pretty dry. Cabbage and rice were ok. Plantains were pretty burnt.
