Dockside Grill is now under new ownership and the service experience is terrible. We waited an hour and a half for food and our server told us the kitchen was backed up. We asked to speak to the manager, he never showed up. The server then told us that the cook threw food at her when she asked how long it would be for food and said “they will get they’re food when its their turn.” I own a business in the service industry and this type of service disgusts me. I hope the owner sees this and realizes that they will sink themselves with this type of service. We were a long time customer and will no longer return.

Good food. Our group had the cold shrimp, cheesesteak sandwiches, wings and shrimp salad. All of it was very good. There was a live two-man band playing civer songs the evening went there that was decent and very entertaining. We arrived by boat with a group of friends and docking was easy. Only complaint, BUT A VERY BIG COMPLAINT, was that the amount of sunlight on the covered outdoor dining area made it nearly unbearable to sit out there. A relatively modest investment in some sun shades or awnings would good a long way toward really making the experience better.

Absolutely the worst service we have ever experienced at any restaurant. I realize they just opened; however, anyone choosing to open a restaurant at a lake marina in a well established area should be able to anticipate possible parties of ten. After waiting for an hour and a half, they admitted they could not serve us. We live on this lake, we purchase our boat fuel at this marina, and it upsets me to know we no longer have a restaurant to visit. It is very sad and very upsetting. Perhaps someone will purchase this restaurant and make it what it used to be. Until then, please do not waste your time.

They have a lot of seafood and hamburger choices on there menu.. I optioned for the gumbo. It was cold and the waitress never came back to fill our drinks..The atmosphere was great they did have live music.

Good friendly marina bar & restaurant. Family friendly and not overpriced. That said, the beers on tap were ALL light beers other than two (both I didn’t like,). So I guess my overall is pretty good, but change the draft beer selection.

Showed up with 18 Allison Boat owners unannounced at noon on a Friday. Hospitality, speed of service, environment and food was excellent. I think they earned some new repeat customers.

First time here, nice atmosphere , good music but the food was blah! We had the catfish , cole slaw, wings, gumbo soup and Western hamburger. Soup was just a lot of okra with couple pieces of chicken. The wings were ok, Catfish was dry and tasted like old cornmeal. Worst of all are the condiments. The catsup , blue cheese dressing and ranch we had tasted like some super cheap off brand. Coleslaw obviously made with generic mayo was also horrible. If you go, stick with a hamburger and bring your own condiments!

We ordered 4 smokehouse burgers and a 1/2 pound burger. Had to wait a considerable amount of time only to be short one of our orders. The waitress explained to us that another waitress had mistakenly gave it to someone else. With that being sad one of our guest had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes for and by the time he got it everyone else was done.

Great food, friendly service, $2 draft and domestics on Tuesday, all-you-can-eat catfish on Wednesday. Highly recommend the tiger shrimp,catfish, crab cakes, and smokehouse burger.
