Minor but Major
This place has the best bouillabaisse in the area. Strongly recommend! I ordered that and a mushroom cobbler which was served in a ramekin. It was flavorful and savory. Service was 5 stars. Overall, Dockside Grill is the restaurant where I’ll be always coming back to when I’m in town

The food at this restaurant is absolutely wonderful! Lots of seafood choices. Beautifully presented and very tasty. It is right on the water but not organized so everyone has a view. Service not so great. One accepts that these days there are fewer staff than ideal. However at this restaurant, the service is spotty. Some people received friendly, attentive service; others were neglected. We were in the second group. Waited forever for our desserts. Go for the food.

Enjoyed the Grill twice while in Sequim, not only good atmosphere but deli so h food! Loved the Raspberry Shortcake drink, but all Entrees well presented and tasty. Deserts presented beautifully and ones we had were well worth it.

I was worried when I read their long-time chef was gone but lunch was so good that we went back for dinner the next day! Best Oysters Rockefeller I’ve ever had and husband said the same about his Reuben sandwich. The onion soup was dark and rich. Cod topped with crab was perfectly cooked. Even the veggies were delicious, full of flavor and not overcooked. We also enjoyed watching the marina activity including a wide variety of birds.

Make reservations! We had a delightful evening. Patty was our friendly, attentive server. We had a delicious meal including scallops, shrimp, crab, and chicken dishes. Everything was beautifully plated. The view was lovely from our corner table. After dinner we walked up the hill and enjoyed watching seals. Perfect evening.

My husband and I went yesterday to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We had made a reservation after trying to reserve at other restaurants across the water. We were met as soon as we walked in and were seated with in a few minutes. Our server was friendly, told us about the specials and took our drink orders and appetizer choice. The drinks were so good (tropical pelican and raspberry shortcake). The stuffed mushrooms were of the hook good!! Our dinner choices were the plan Rib eye and the ribeye with mushrooms and demi sauce. Both dishes were top in our list to eat again (which says a lot as we are ribeye steak snobs…lol). A dessert tray was brought by and the choices were outstanding! Would have loved a small bite of each! We left with left overs and full stomachs! We will definitely come again since it’s close to home! This is certainty a hidden gem and one you will not be disappointed in!

We had the most INCREDIBLE time at Dockside Grille in Sequim. They welcomed us to celebrate our elopement with our family. Our servers Patty and Sadie were so kind, attentive, and had the best humor. They were so personable and had us all cracking up. The restaurant and bathrooms were beyond tidy and the overall atmosphere was very cozy and romantic. We even got to see seals swimming around in the marina while we had dessert. The head chef was so personable and provided the most perfect touches to our meals. We all mostly had seafood however my father in law stated his steak and Caesar salad was by far the best he’s experienced. The food portions were incredible and the seafood was so fresh. We could not have selected a better restaurant for a celebration and if we had more time in WA then we definitely would have been back the following night! Thanks again to Patty, Sadie, and head chef!!!

I can’t really speak for the food since they would not seat us. We arrived at 3:30 pm – they close at 4 pm and had plenty of tables available. We only had 2 in our party and they just seated 3 people in front of but because we did not have a reservation they turned us away. I’m sorry but if you are open, you should not turn away good paying customers.

Amazingly delicious, beautifully prepared, fresh ingredients, locally sourced. We had appetizers, entrees and desserts. The staff and chef were very friendly and informative with detailed customer service. Looking forward to a return visit.
