Nice restaurant overall! There was a lot of parking and a lot of seating, and the outside area was nice. There was live music outside when we were there. The food was very good – we got appetizers only. The crab dip was great!! My husband got some fries on the side but they were a bit old/not fresh, so that’s the only complaint we had. But overall, it’s a nice solid restaurant with a lively bar scene!

We came to celebrate my sister’s birthday and had a fabulous time. Our server Diane was amazing. She took great care of us. We had a large party and she met all our needs. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She is a large part of why we will be back. The food was delicious. We loved the wings, crab soup, crab cakes, and shrimps.

Had lunch on a Monday. Very busy by 12:30. We had several dishes, fish sandwich, fish and fries, buffalo wrap, very spicy, and broiled haddock. All were great, plus great service. And the outside setting is wonderful. Worth your time next time you are near Deale.

It’s been 13 years since we have been coming to our home marina restaurant. Where the service used to be wonderful. But lately, service and food quality are poor. Last time when we order, Shelby, the waitress didn’t write up our order, and we were presented with a wrong dish. We returned it immediately and asked for the one we ordered. About 10 minutes later, the waitress came back with a rude and confrontational attitude, insisting that we had ordered that dish.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with girlfriends at Dockside. I ordered 2 appetizers: fried oysters and onion rings. I am a fried oyster connoisseur and the oysters at Dockside were hands down the best I’ve had in Southern Maryland and perhaps anywhere; succulent, lightly breaded, and with delicious Tartar sauce. The onion rings melted in your mouth! Emily, our server, was excellent. She was always there to check up on us, split the check with no hesitation, and was super friendly and charming. I can’t wait to eat there again!

Another gem in the area! Dockside Restaurant & Sports Bar is definitely a place to be Any time of the week. We visited Monday, we will definitely be coming during the weekend. The ambient is great, Marina is next to the restaurant, among other things.

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent and the severs were very friendly and made us really feel at home. The seafood platter and the soft shell crabs were amazing. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

So, quite simply, my food rating is for the crab cake alone. I heard plenty about who has the best crab cakes, and certainly their are others, but I will definitely be back here for another. Market price of $24 at the time but well worth it. Also, great location and nice outdoor patio and bar seating with a view of the creek and marina. Sorry, no photos!
