Really cute place. Very friendly service. You definitely need to get the deep fried burger! They should deep fry all the burgers! It was amazing. The rest of the food was okay. They use the world’s worst ketchup and advertise it all over the restaurant to make you believe it is a good thing. Luckily the BBQ sauce is good.

We sat outside as we had our pup with us and he didn’t need to be in the car on a hot day. We enjoyed the deck which overlooks the ball field. No game, but nice atmosphere. My daughter had the wings and we shared a Zepplin. Both were excellent.

My husband and I stopped by here on our backroads trip home from Duluth. We went for lunch, and there were only a few other people in there. We ordered burgers with fries, and our food came quickly and it was HOT off the grill! I don’t know how they cook the burgers, but they were delicious, as were the fries. I would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Our burgers and hamburger steak were delicious. Loved the pretzel bun on my bourbon bacon cheeseburger. Forgot to take pics as we were so hungry. Dinner side salad was impressive! So was the loaded baked potato. The service was slow though, but they did have a big party going on. Was noisier than I like, but it was a Saturday night so didn’t hold that against them. Would definitely go back to try the elk burger.

Poor service and slow server Tanya. She never offered refills and waffle fries cold and burnt. Chrese curds were the best. The burgers are amazing. I tried to confront Tayna. She walked away. She needs time off. She seems angry and stressed. She made me cry. I will not be back. She doesn’t like her customers. I felt just hurt and that i was bothering her.please send her on a much.needed day at a spa

This is our go to dinner stop heading up to and/or coming home from our campground ! We pass up all other places for Docs! The servers are always super friendly and attentive, and the food is always fast and served hot! Just had THE BEST maragarita I have ever had in MN there last night! Perfectly balanced flavors! They also have delish Ranch, which seals the deal! IYKYK !

It’s ok… 2 of us for dinner. Pretzel sticks for an app, which were good. One pepper burger with jo-jo potatoes and one walleye sandwich with seasoned french fries. The burger was ok, the jo-jo’s were really good, the walleye sandwich was really bland and the fries were really good. The sandwich didn’t come with any tartar sauce, so we had to go to the bar and ask for some. Our server seemed like she was pretty new to the handheld ordering device as she had a hard time finding what we were ordering on it. She was attentive but not intrusive, which was nice. We wouldn’t make a special trip to stop here again, but might give it another try if we were in the area.

I love the Sturgeon Lake location but the Askov location is severely lacking in service quality. The waitresses/waiters aren’t knowledgeable on what’s on tap, available and aren’t great at checking in on the tables. We have been there numerous times due to convenience as we camp nearby. Service has been our only complaint.

Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices, and a friendly, attractive, and clean Atmosphere! From the time we arrived until we left we felt the warm welcome of dedicated waitstaff. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked to order. If you are traveling from the Cities to Duluth, or Visa, Versa, this is the place to stop for a bite. Just 4 miles up US 23 from Banning Junction.
