We went on Tuesday, Chicken Fried Steak night and it was the best chicken fried steak we have had in years. The place was full, but the service was excellent and it was cool, an oddity right now. We will definitely go again!

We went on chicken fry night. Chicken fry steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was good. Seemed like they are short on staff but most of the people in there were patient. Overall, not bad. Want to go back and try the pizza.

Stopped by for their daily special of Chicken Fried Steak. Everything about the visit was exceptional. The special came out hot, fresh, and fast. The portion size was more than most could eat. The service was great. We will be back.

I think Docs needs to decide if they are a bar or a restaurant. I had the patty melt and still can’t get the taste out of my mouth. The burger was burnt and dry and had a very strange flavor. The property is big but if you’re not familiar with where Docs is you could drive by as there is not a permanent sign, just a small, electronic sign. The grounds have lots of space but the landscaping is worn-out. They will charge you for using a credit/debit card, a fee they can easily write off. Service was fine.

Place was kinda cluttered out front. Empty propane bottles some empty beer bottles just keep the place picked up. Parking lot is rough with potholes and gravel.

I don’t know if it’s a Texas thing but everyone’s Catfish dinners are literally catfish nuggets. My husband was quite disappointed in how tiny the pieces were. I had the nachos they were ok. Drinks were good. The music would go in and out of super loud where we couldn’t hear eachother and then a decent volume. And this was before the DJ. It’s a fun place to go for drinks.
