Stopped in for a late lunch, at the new downtown Summersville location, had the sliced brisket sandwich. All I can say is…that’s dang good BBQ! Highly recommend. So glad they moved to Summersville!!

Very slow. Ordered a 12 oz and 16oz steak medium. Said they were out of 12 oz so had to get 2 16 oz. No way 1# steaks. Looked like cut in half. Steaks came rare at best. Asked for steak sauce and waited for a long time. Another waitress said someone had to go buy some. I bragged in this place to a lot of people. The previous steak was twice the size and perfect. No more bragging from me. I won’t go back.

Love the food. Bbq sauce is perfect and the potato salad is great. Burgers are normally tender and full of flavor. Only once of the many times eating here I got a dry burger. And ribs and pulled pork are awesome to. Melt in your mouth.

This was our first time at Doc’s BBQ and the food we received did not disappoint. Went on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t crowded so we were seated quickly and service was amazing. Brianna took care of our party of 9 extremely well. I would have given 5 stars were it not for the fact that they were unfortunately out of of pork and chicken quarters. Several of us were looking forward to the pulled pork. We will try again soon but I am thinking calling ahead might be a good idea.

Service has gone down hill. Our group of 6 were the only diners and the waitress forgot to order my entre. No bar tender at 6pm so the waitress had to guess on making drinks for our wives. The drink mixes were awful tasting. Management needs to step up if that business is going to stay open.

They was real slow to get your food out to you. I wasn’t happy. I sit there for almost 2 hours. But the food is great. But they need to tell people how long it would take they to get your food out to you.
