We drove out to Crockett for a different restaurant but they were unfortunately closed. Doc’s was across the street. The atmosphere is 100% east Texas BBQ. The brisket was tender and had good smoked flavor. Good choice of sides. Definitely a good lunch.

I asked for sausage on a bunch Plate that came with 2 sides then they charged me for the plate and an extra side. The side was $3.50 but shouldn’t be more than $.50 with the portions you get. Waste of money

Stopped in just the use the facilities, but was hungry too — not disappointed with the food! Worth stopping. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The Lima beans were very tasty. Peach cobbler was good too. I very pleasant stop!
