Six college roommates were visiting nearby and Doc’s was a delightful surprise in a rural locale. The renovated property was kitchy-kool, the menu varies with daily specials, the ice cream was ambrosia, and the service friendly, personal and prompt!

Great little startup! Super friendly with a cozy atmosphere. The owners were nice people willing to share stories of how the business started and why the establishment look the way that it did. Clean, well kept, great ice cream! If you’re in the area I would stop by have a bit of dinner or lunch and a nice chat.

Normally, I rate the food. And the food was great. The atmosphere was fine too. But the wait staff was just spectacular. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. Turns out he us from our hometown and just about the nicest kid you could meet. Definitely worth a quick detour off the highway for a sandwich and milkshake.

We had the Chicken Philly and Pharmacy Melt and they were so good! Got the potato salad and coleslaw as sides, which I’m very picky about, and they were good as well. Dessert was Gooey Butter Cake milkshake and chocolate milkshake. We’ll definitely be back!!

Loved, loved, loved this place!! Steve and Casey the owners were fantastic to us when we stopped in. They spent so much time with us and helping us navigate Route 66. The food was great, the malt fantastic! We enjoyed the history of Docs, the atmosphere and everything they had to offer. Thanks for making our experience superb! A must go to destination!

This place is wonderful and charming. I love the pharmacy museum inside and the friendly crowd and staff. My 6yo son LOVED the chocolate milkshake. We will be back! A big thank you to a very kind woman from the DAR who told me about this place.
