I will start with the positive. The food was great! The music was really good as well. Local plays every Wednesday! Be prepared to wait. It took us about 3 hours to eat. The service was very slow and when the sun shades were pulled down the inside was really hot as it’s all open air. Did enjoy the food but a lot left to be desired with the service and how long it took for food and drinks. Not sure I would go back.

My wife and I stopped here during our honeymoon. This was absolutely the best seafood either of us have ever had. The service was amazing, very fast and friendly. Our cups were never empty and the server wasn’t pushy. He was very patient and knowledgeable when explaining the specials. My wife had the fried shrimp platter and I had the mahi special. We split the fried cheesecake for dessert and we sat right next to the dock.

First time here and it was great! The tuna sandwich was probably the best thing we ordered but the po boy was also absolutely delicious- the pickles were super zesty and crisp and the remoulade had a great tang! Our server was really great and did a great job handling multiple tables at once.

My family went in the early afternoon so there was no wait for lunch. There is no AC but natural wind. If you are sensitive to heat, you might want to reconsider. Food was great. We ordered seafood queso, which was on the saltier side. Ahi tuna tacos comes with green beans and rice, which were tasty. Seafood salad had a great flavor.

Service was the very best there is. Annie our waitress was the best ever. She alone made us glad we chose to eat at Doc’s. And then the atmosphere sitting over the water was sublime. Perfect breeze. Then the food came & we were in heaven. If you go & there’s a wait!? Then just wait! It’s so worth it.

I was in on the Saturday before the 4th of july. It was expectedly very busy, but this was a great dining experience. We did have to wait an hour and a half for a table, but there was a bar downstairs that had a band, music, and Hors d’oeuvres. The drinks were delicious and the oysters were fresh, and we got to watch them be shucked. When we finally got our table our waiter was polite and attentive. The food was exquisite. I have the mahi mahi and my friend had the redfish. They were the specials. We split them half and half and both were incredible. It was definitely worth the wait! I thought prices were very fair for the service and the food quality. Definitely will go here again.

Tasty. The place was busy, with live music. Food was good, not off the charts but tasty. Bacon wrapped shrimp were flavorful and the dipping sauce was delicious. Hubs ordered a cheeseburger, which was huge, and the fries were super crisp and hot.

Our experience was a lot lower than expectations based on local recommendations of the restaurant. Parking was very difficult to find as the first hurdle. We were then told there was a 45 minute wait for two for an early dinner. At least there are beautiful views of the water while you wait. At about an hour we asked if the wait would be much longer, and we were seated right away. It felt like we were forgotten about. After seating at the table for a good ten minutes in the Texas summer heat, we asked another server if we could get at least glasses of water. Once our server (finally) took our order, he brought out the clam chowder without crackers. I’ve never ever had the soup served like that. It took a while to flag him down again. The catch of the day fish entree’s were fresh and the side veggies good, but the fish themselves seemed dry as cooked despite heavy sauces. The waiter did refill water glasses well and offer to go water cups at the end which was nice. Be careful with wet floors while visiting – a girl slipped walking between tables in tenny shoes. Overall, the experience was just ok. The clam chowder was the only highlight.
