Visited last weekend as a pit stop on the way to NYC. We found it via Google. Skeptical at first because there were no customers in there we tried it anyway and I’m glad we did! The food was great and when owner, Dr. Rev. Durr showed up, meeting him made our day. We got a Sermon with our Soulfood! Lol I will visit again.

The smell when you walk in is unbearable. This place look so bad like they haven’t had customers in years. The drinks were brought out and a bug was floating in the my sons drink. I’m really not sure how they are still in business. It’s not clean at all I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one

I called and inquire about if there was a buffet to select from or if I had to order in advance. upon my arrival they told me the food needed to be prepared and I had to wait for 15 minutes. The television was super loud as I tried to communicate with the server and we both couldn’t hear each other and he still didn’t think to lower the volume of the television. It appears that him watching TV was more important to what the customer was inquiring about.

I ordered fried whiting fish with grits and cheese. Once I got home there was a strong odor coming from the bag. I opened it and it was the fish which tells me i was sold old whiting pieces. This place needs to go under a health inspection
