This is my first time at this restaurant as I was passing by. At first I was leary due to the downtown looking run down in a sense. Though this restaurant gives you a cozy feeling with the decor. The restaurant was neat and clean inside. As for the food it’s all homemade. I ordered the Double Cheeseburger which is made with fresh beef patty. For my family member they ordered the Saturday special “Meatloaf”. The food was fantastic and so was the service.

A nice little restaurant. Very friendly staff and a decent selection on the menu. I like some good comfort food and this place has exactly that. I ordered the roast beef boat and it was phenomenal!! Being from Texas, I eat my fair share of gravy and their brown gravy was delicious!! Im only in town for 2 days but I will be going back for dinner tomorrow also!!

Stoped in on our way through and boy was it good food and good prices! My husband and I both got hamburgers and they were the best we’ve had in a long time. It was getting pretty packed when we were finishing up around 5pm. Every table was full. The pictures are from when we got there around 4:30.

Went to Dodd’s looking for a quick bite…it did not disappoint. Nice rustic atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and clean bathrooms facilities. I ordered the pulled pork BBQ sandwich with beer battered fries. It was fast and tasty. It’s a great little Mom and Pop if you’re driving Route 50 through West Virginia. It’s less than a mile from the highway exit. Good home style cooking. Will return!

So I was traveling through West Virginia with my family’s to see my dad and stopped at Dodd’s for dinner. I’ve been here before and know they have good so like a sneak I let my children order first and I went last ordering apple pie and chocolate milk for dinner. Knowing no good parent would let their kids order pie for dinner I had to order last so they didn’t know it was a possibility till it was too late

Stopped by for a quick bite on a trip through the area. I’m very happy we did. Despite being close to closing [Google hours were not correct], they greeted us with a smile. Food came out hot and fast. Sweet tea was fresh. We had deep-fried pickles, and for once, I did not need to ask for extra ranch !! My husband and I both ordered the turkey boat, and it was flavorful and filling 🙂 I grabbed a brownie to go because they were huge. It’s super soft and delicious as well !! Great little place, stop by.

Nice log cabin but needs some cleaning. The service was ok, but the food was horrible. I got some cheesy chicken spaghetti and it was a sticky glob of cut up spaghetti with chicken. I didn’t see any cheese, and it was completely flavorless. My son in law got the meatloaf, which looked like a hockey puck. It had no flavor and he said it layed on his stomach like a brick even though he didn’t eat all of it. Disappointing at best.
