Clearly a local staple, as it’s been in the area for many decades. Is it decent? Absolutely. Is it amazing? Absolutely not. The food is basic but consistent. They use the same recipes from the 1930s, founded in the Delta area of Arkansas. The fries are amazing, “biscuits” which are more like donuts are pillows of heaven. The mushrooms were over salted while the steaks were under salted. The “World Famous” tamales, are good only because of the chili served with them, which has good flavor, seasoning and texture.

The food was amazing, as we split their marbled Ribeye steak and had their “drop rolls”, which tasted more like Louisiana style beignets. The atmosphere was more casual than we had expected, but the service was great.

If you know. You know. Does is fantastic! We have our holiday party here every year and it’s always a great time. Queen filets, with sides served family style. Potatoes, crispity crunch French fries, side salad, mushrooms and fried & boiled shrimp! And always always get the fry bread biscuits! Plus the desserts are pretty damn delicious. Great service!

Giant Steaks were perfectly cooked to order. We shared 2 steaks between 4 people and still had some left. The hot tamale appetizers were cold inside . Normally I don’t like fries with streak, but these fries were extraordinarily delicious as were the fried biscuits. Megan, our server, was an absolute delight. Cherry and apple pie for dessert was very good, but Does Eat Place does not serve any coffee! I ask management to rethink this, coffee with the pie would have really completed the meal.

We had a HUGE party on Tuesday night. Jordan was our server. She covered 20 people like it was nothing. Our drinks were always full, food perfectly timed, a great attitude and so friendly the entire time. I have run restaurants and would hire her in a heartbeat, she was AMAZING!

First time.. Wife and I ordered the Porterhouse steak to share. It was amazing, perfectly cooked. The hand cut fries were a nice addition. The soaked salad was good. The “dropped biscuits” were amazing! (They are deep fried!). This is fine dining without the high class fine dining atmosphere. Come in your shorts or tee shirt and fit right in. My kind of place! You won’t be disappointed.

Great experience for the first time eating there. Service was excellent with friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had oyster appetizer with really nice large plump golf oysters. I had the bone in ribeye and it was excellent, cooked perfectly and too big to finish in one sitting. Heated up the leftovers and it was even better the next day. Highly recommend!

Slow, poor service. Plates never removed from table. When seated we didn’t even get silverware. Crummy atmosphere reminds me of a rundown diner. Over salted mushrooms and bland remainder of meal. This is not a good restaurant.

The is a steak-centric establishment. If you’re looking for upscale and fancy, go elsewhere. If you’re looking for phenomenal steak, come here. The steaks are expensive and gigantic. The fried bread is piping hot and delicious. While the establishment feels like it could use a deep clean, the staff is kind, the steaks are dynamite.
