Modern sushi and Japanese cuisine with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Wow. What a cool little spot. We came in right as they opened for their dinner hours and were lucky enough to catch a table. It seems like it is not a bag idea to have a reservation, at least on a weekend, because they were busy from the moment they opened. It is a very small space, so it gets crowded fast, and we can tell why. The food was excellent.

LOVED LOVED LOVED everything about this place. Small, cozy, cool music on a rainy day. We each had miso, the gyoza, the chef’s special roll, and seaweed salad. Hats off to the chef. I would have ordered SO MUCH more, but I plan on going back and just working my way down the menu. Not kidding.

Sat down for a great early dinner/late lunch. Enjoyed everything we ordered. The miso soup was incredibly flavorful as well as the hand rolls we ordered. Had the spider roll and the unicorn roll. Both were excellent and the tempura soft shell crab was to die for. Staff was so nice and the selection of new wave music offered a nice atmosphere. The only negative aspect was the limited indoor seating. The room easily became cramped when people arrived for the dinner hour.

Eaten here before and food is good. They wouldn’t seat a party of 6 this time on a weekend that wasn’t busy so they don’t deserve much praise. I can see maybe 8 being too much but 6 people is family size. Dumb.

We visited Murphy about 5 years ago and loved the town. This time around we discovered Doke Sushi and as a big fan of Sushi, we could not resist. How amazing the food and the service!! The single waitress did an outstanding job looking after all the patrons with a smile, and wonderful suggestions.

Stopped here for lunch on a number of occasions. Food is very good, service has improved since our first visit. First visit, our service was pretty slow. Since then, it has improved. The Bento box is a great deal!
