We came here for lunch. We also had the sesame chicken. Sorry I didn’t get a picture. everything was amazing. The tea, the service was superb! I recommend 100% I wish I would have gotten our servers name he was amazing! I witnessed another customer being rude about some food , so I told him I would take it. He said he had already threw it away. I wanted to still pay for it. He cooked and brought me some and didn’t want to charge me. I tell you I don’t know what that customer’s problem was, but that was amazing!

The food is pretty good , they offer tea (this is common in all Chinatown) and you can pay by card.

It is a kind of hole-on-the-wall restaurant where it serves dim sum. The place is not that clean but foods are considered yummy with a dim sum price ranging from 4.50 to 5 dollars. Interestingly they don’t write down your order and just use memory to bring the dishes out. It is located in Chinatown near all the wet markets/shop. The foods are considered cheap compared to other dimsum restaurant. It cash only.

Nostalgia with traditional Cantonese Hong Kong atmosphere restaurant. 90% customers are seniors. Popular dish is mini-clay pot rice with pork ribs.

Another hidden gem that I came across deep into China Town in SF. The restaurant is small and outdated but don’t be fooled. The food is outstanding! It is hard to communicate with someone but we managed by pointing to the items we wanted on the menu. I guess you can say it is very authentic since nobody speaks English, but honestly it did not bother us at all. The shrimp dumplings are delicious and the sticky pork ribs over rice is a must! The flavors are exquisite and your mouth keeps wanting more! The BBQ Pork Buns are incredibly moist and filled with flavor. The pork dumplings are filled generously with meat and don’t lack a thing. This was a place that made us feel we were not in SF but enjoying Authentic Dim Sum. I cannot fathom how much we enjoyed the food and look forward to returning!

Nice food. Chilli oil is good. Used to be cheap but Price increase quite a bit. Damn inflation.

Average selection of dim sum dishes. Tasty and reasonably priced. Recommend the steamed rice dishes (pork ribs, chicken on rice, etc). Freshly prepared dishes constantly come out of the kitchen. The chilli sauce is great!

One of the best place to have Yam Cha. Food has remained unchanged since they’ve opened 30 years ago and the quality of the service is outstanding. The simplicity of the way they take care of their business and customers should be a standard for all business.

It is always a treat dining-in at Dol Ho. You get the full communal dim sum dining hall experience. Their single cart rarely comes out and you simply tell the waitress what you want. I prefer this because you don’t get interrupted by the cart people asking if want something from their cart. The other way might be better for tourists or you don’t know what you want. My favorites at Dol Ho are their big shrimp balls, the meat rice in metal cylinders and fried taro root. The other dishes are usually pretty good as well, depending on what I’m in the mood for. Great job everyone at Dol Ho.
