Normally we come just for the world’s best gelato. This time we also ate dinner. We had the meatballs and the bruschetta. Both were fantastic. And the bread that comes with the meal is so authentic. Hard crust, soft middle and piping hot.

The best place for authentic Italian. The food was delicious, rich, and perfectly portioned. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The groceries were all authentic and I’m very excited to use them for impressive holiday baskets for friends, family, and clients. The gelato was AMAZING. I had their award winning “Stupify” gelato, and it certainly stunned my husband and I on the spot. This is such a cute, relaxed spot for a quiet date or culinary adventure.

The menu and decor are simple, but the food we ate was fabulous. They also sell gelato and, again, the flavors we tried were outstanding. We also bought some grocery items that are not in the chain stores. We will return any time that we are in the area.

Tried this little Italian side restaurant. Shared an order of lasagna. Not as spicy as I expected. Somewhat bland and cold. Kinda spendy. Bread was tasty and so was the peach cobbler gelato.

So far went there twice and still wanting to come back. 1st time went for lunch and had the past carbonara and loved it. You may think the portion at first glance is small but do not be mistaken. I was pretty full right after. Each bite was rich and delightful… I think if it was a larger portion I may have had some serious food coma. Wife had meat lasagna and loved it. 2nd time we took the kids and of course their pizza was delicious… what better way to add slices of prosciutto to Margherita pizza… actually my son was good with a simple Margherita and just took out the prosciutto slices and eat it on its own. Ambience is very homey and staff are genuinely nice and helpful. The Gelato is awesome over there too, great dessert finale to a tasty lunch. Also based on the 2nd time I went there it looks like they rotate some of the flavors there which makes for a new dessert adventure each time!

For the longest time I’ve looked around for both D.O.P. certified San marzano tomatoes and REAL freakin Italian/Sicilian food. I can say that I’ve found everything and more at Dolce Vita. At first glance this restaurant seems like somewhere a Mafia drive by would occur. But when zio (uncle) the owner of this establishment comes and greets you, you know you’ve hit the Sicilian jackpot. The pasta and lasagna was to die for, perfectly cheesy and meaty with those crispy bits you love! The bread…….my god the bread. So beautiful baked with the perfect crust and a tender interior so beautiful I almost shed a tear. Everything about this place is so authentic that the olive oil and balsamic vinegar have a layer of complexity that the big Italian chains could only dream of accomplishing.
