Second time dinning at The Dominican Restaurant in the Richardson, TX area and I’m highly pleased once again. Customer service was very friendly and informative. We order The Red Snapper with tostones. Very large portions and food was served quick and hot. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for some good Dominican cuisine.

Never having had Dominican and trying to sample as many of the world’s cousins as Dallas offers, I came her as soon as I learned of it. That was a great choice. My server spoke little English and I speak tourist Spanish, but he was great and we had no trouble getting my order. There’s a glass fridge full of Presidente pilsner that was pleasantly bitter, light and refreshing. The tostones were crispy and soft on the inside. My trifongo with fish was plated beautifully and tasted as good as it looked. While the fish was delicious, the bones made it a bit of work so I’ll try a different protein during my next visit.

My server was excellent! I tried mofongo for the 1st time here, amazing! I got the one that comes with garlic shrimp. What really impressed me was the Chicken empanada, really good! I will come back to try the snapper
